Chapter 1: Scars

Hey guys! This is my first ever fanfic. So I'm not very good at this.. But I hope you'll enjoy anyway! This is probably not gonna be sad but I'll try anyway. Sry I'll stop talking. Enjoy!♡♡

Eren's POV*

I woke up in the same old usual dark basement. But I had a sharp pain in my leg. I tried to stand up but found myself falling. I held onto a table beside me and used it for support.

Once I was standing straight, I remembered what happened last night. My father was abusing me again. He hit me.. Over and over and over until..

I blacked out..

I wanted to cry. But I held in my tears. I walked to my dresser and grabbed some clothes. I went upstairs and walked into the dark bathroom. It was then lit up once I turned on the light switch. I took off my clothes and went into the bathtub and took a shower.

20 minutes has passed by and I got out of the shower. I changed into dark blue baggy jeans and a black Long sleeve shirt to cover... the art on my arms.. I brushed my messy hair and brushed my teeth. Once I was done, I opened the bathroom door and took a deep breath.

Once I was out of the bathroom, I went downstairs and found dad sleeping on the couch. I let out a sigh of relief. I checked the time on my phone and it said 7:00. I opened my front door and went outside. I locked the front door and started walking to school.

15 minutes later *cuz I'm to lazy*

I was in front of the school gate and I saw Jean and his "men". I ran as fast as I could to my first period. I'm thankful that he didn't see me. I sighed. Once I knew it, the bell rang. I went inside the classroom and sat down in my seat.

I heard there was a new teacher coming in this class. Oh well. The door opened the teacher came in.

He had black hair with an undercut, silver, gray eyes that look like the moon shining through the night, and he was.. surprisingly short.

"Alright class," he started. "I'm your new teacher this semester. My name is Levi Ackerman. Once I call your name, I want you to say here. Got it?"

Some answered with a yes and some just nodded.

"Jean.", "here."
"Marco", "here."
"Historia","here"
"Eren","...here."

Minutes later has passed and Mr. Ackerman finished saying all of the names.

"Okay class! Turn to page 24 in your textbooks and start reading." He said while organizing his papers.

We got out our textbooks and started reading. This is going to be a long day.

Levi's POV*

Once I told them to read their textbooks, I can't stop looking at this one kid. He had brunette hair, beautiful green and blue eyes. But on the inside, I could tell he was hurting. Emotionally and physically. But I shrugged it off and continued with my work.

30 minutes has passed and the bell rung. The students were leaving and Eren was the last one. He packed his supplies into his black and white backpack. He stood up and grabbed his bag.

He was by the door and I noticed something up his sleeve. There were cuts. A lot of them. I should talk to him later. He's in my class for last period anyway.

Eren's POV*
I had free time now so I went to the bathroom to clean my cuts. As I went into the bathroom, I pulled up my sleeve showing all of my lines on my pale arm. I turned the faucet on and let my wrist sit under the cool water. It felt relaxing. Despite how painful my cuts were under the water.

Suddenly, a hand grabbed my collar and pushed me against the wall. It was Jean and his friends..

"Heyyyy Eren.." He said with a deep voice.

His voice made shivers down my spine.

"I didn't see you this morning. Where were you?" He said while his hand were still holding my collar.

I stayed quiet. I didn't want to talk to him at all.

"ANSWER ME!"

I looked down still not saying a word.

"Fine. If that's how you want to do it."

I looked at him confused until he kicked my leg where dad hit me. I fell down and winced at the pain. I opened my eyes and looked at him, pleading for him to stop. But he just kicked me in the stomach, making me lay down on the ground. He kept kicking me in the same spot.

My eyesight started to get blurry. The pain from last night and right now, I couldn't take any longer.

Then, I saw someone with black hair. He ran into Jean and punched him over again. All of Jean's friends were scared as hell. So, they ran away. Far, far away from the bathroom.

Then everything went black..
