Chapter 3

The small house was quite, the only sound was the sound of the arm chair, moving slightly at the weight it was holding, the old woman stared at the fireplace in front of her, before changing her focus back on the scarf she was knitting

It was getting cold, the winter was close, and so she needed some warm clothes that aren't as wear off as her other clothes, the only clothes she's comfortable with are the clothes she makes herself

She glanced to her left, at the small petite body of the Princess, Athena

She seemed to stir in her sleep

Was she having a dream?

The old woman asked herself, wondering whether it was a good idea to wake her up or not

Luckily the witch didn't have to think about that for a while longer, since Athena seemed to start to wake up

Finally

Her eyes fluttered open, the events of what happened before she passed out fresh in her memories

Was it real?

She didn't have to answer that question as she looked over at her surroundings, realizing she really did run away from the castle

She looked to her left once she felt a pair of eyes studying her, only to be met with dark brown eyes, similar to hers

The princess slowly got up from her sleeping position into a more comfortable seating position, so that she was facing the woman

"U-umm, hello?" The princess greeted unsure of what to do, she was feeling awkward and scared a bit

"Hello, I'm Lilian, although I introduced myself already an hour ago, but I don't know if you remembered that bit before passing out" the old woman laughed warmly while looking at Athena's curious gaze

Sighing, the old woman continued "I know that your probably having a lot of questions in your head right now, but don't worry, I will be explaining as soon as you eat the soup I made for you, I'm sure you need the energy for what your gonna hear next"

Getting up from her seat slowly, trying her best to not break a bone or two probably, she went to the other side of the bed from where Athena was, and proceeded to get a small wooden bowl

"I'm sorry for that" she said holding up the bowl, "I'm sure your used to eating from expensive essentials, but I guess you just have to deal with it" Athena didn't say anything, except for watching the old woman pour some of the vegetable soup and a small piece of bread

Athena was actually happy with the sight of the food that was placed in front of her, she was hungry, and didn't realize it until now, also the soup looked delicious at the moment

"Thank you" Athena said, bending her head down to the floor, trying her best to show some respect to the old woman

"Your welcome, darling, now eat up, I'm as excited as you are to tell you what your curious about"

Without any further a due, the princess held the wooden spoon, slowly and steadily took the first sip of the hot soup

"That's really good" She complimented, while munching on the piece of bread

"This soup is one of the only things I could do good that relates to cooking, so I'm glad you liked it"

After another fifteen minutes, the princess had just finished five bowls of soup, and she was full, she may be a princess, but that does not mean that she doesn't have a huge appetite

"So what would you like to hear first?" The witch asked after making sure that Athena was full

"Everything"

"So your saying that I'm a witch?"

"Yes" the old lady nodded

"That means that I-I can ride a broom?" She asked unsure

"Which part of being a witch did you not understand? Yes, you could do whatever a witch does, even more actually since your the seventh chosen one"

"Oh, yeah about that, so, what does having the knowledge power do? How am I supposed to save the world of witches with it?"

"As I said you have the seventh power, which means that there are six other powers, and your power will be able to join all these six powers"

"Wait, where are the other six powers?"

Lilian had just finished explaining everything to Athena, and surprisingly, Athena didn't take it as expected, make a tantrum or pass out again, but she just asked more questions

"They are somewhere deep within six young people all around the country"

Athena opened her mouth in surprise "And how are we supposed to find them?"

"We don't, they find us, just like how you found me"
