The So Called Witch

Chapter 6

I'm sure it is the sixth witch, the aura coming from whoever they are is really strong and different from everyone else I've been with today

Athena slowly and carefully, turned to her left and downwards towards the stairs that led down to there garden

Her heart was thumping hard in her chest, she was excited to meet another power and also a new friend perhaps

The bushes made a small sound as Athena took a step in them, but thank god, whoever it was, was busy with whatever they were doing and didn't hear her

When she was about to take another step, she thought and wished if she couldn't be heard at least until she makes sure it is the sixth witch

She continued her way towards the sixth witch, surprisingly without a single sound now, she believed it had to do with the power obeying her wish

The same thing happened the night she met Lilian, when she tried to make her way towards the three drunk men without making any sound, she had thought to be able to not make any sounds, and it had worked

As Athena moved closer, she heard soft humming, are they singing?

Once Athena was close enough, inches apart only, did she hear the singing

It was barely heard, but Athena managed to, and it was soft with a nice tune to it

Standing on her top toes, to see from up the bushes, she caught a glimpse of ginger hair

It was a girl, no older than Athena

"Hello?" She called out

The ginger haired girl jumped up at the close voice and looked up at Athena with frightened eyes

She had green eyes, and was wearing some old clothes

"Oh my gosh?" She more like asked, which was rather amusing to Athena

"What are you doing here?" Athena asked looking down at where the ginger haired girl was at, Athena was cautious, maybe she could be mistaken, it might not be the sixth witch, but some other normal witch, just like Lilian

The girl didn't say anything, just looking at the the princess, she also had many questions in her head, she couldn't feel the strong power radiating from Athena, but she felt something different with her

For about a couple of seconds, the question Athena asked just seemed to get inside the girl's head as she let out a nervous chuckle

"Nothing!" she answered rather quickly

"Yeah, nothing" Athena said sarcastically as she looked behind the girls back

Many small flowers where planted in there, and all with different colors, Athena could swear this is the first time she sees these flowers, and this isn't the first time she has come to this spot before

What if-

"Oh, these are some flowers I found in here, wanted to make sure they are okay, since that's part of my work..." the girl interrupted Athena's train of thoughts

"I live here, have been here, and this is the first time I see this, it wasn't here before" the princess ended her short speech with a confident nod

The girl seemed to get even more nervous, "What? I just saw them in here when I came.."

"I know you just planted them, and I also know..." she stopped talking, taking in the reaction of the girl, who seemed to be shocked

It was now or never, the princess didn't leave time for herself to decide if it really was for sure the sixth witch in front of her right now
