I should start out by saying that, whoever you are, reading this should make you want to respond. I am putting myself (and maybe even a bit of my safety) on the line so that I can do something adventurous. I hope you have the courtesy to do the same.
Hello, Stranger. My name is Nicole. That's all you'll need to know about that for now. I find it funny how you have a name too, yet for the time being I'm unaware. I'm sending a letter to someone who could be a Tom, or Mary, or Dylan. You might even be named Nicole!
A little bit about my life... well, I live in No-Man's-Land. My town has a dwindling population of 300. My family is as normal as they get. A mom, a dad, an older sister, a younger brother, and me. Being a middle child should be a form of torture. My mom is wrapped up as a full time soccer manager for my brother and his team. My dad is in charge of hanging all of my sister's 'prestigious' awards. I'm left to fend for myself. But, it's easy to forget about a girl who has no hobbies, no talents, no extra-curriculars. Maybe my parents are hoping I just fade into the woodworks.
Before this letter gets too depressing, let me hear about you! Take out a sheet of paper and answer these questions:
