I keep these glass bottles.
They're broken
They're empty.
They were never used for drinking
I used them to bottle up my emotions.
I used them until they filled.
Then I'd empty them.
It was a cycle.
The bottles broke eventually,
I had to find more.
They are reminders.
Reminders for me.
Reminders of how I failed
Reminders of what I didn't do.
Reminders of what I could have been
Reminders of what I am.
I keep these bottles,
That way I remember.
They don't help me change,
But I'm happy to have them anyway.
I like having these bottles.
They're reminders.
They aren't healthy to have,
I know this.
These bottles are reminders,
And I don't plan on throwing them away.
