Chapter 2 - School

Its been 4 days since we moved. We have settled in and had everything unpacked.
I sighed and flopped on my bed. I started school tomorrow...
Mom said that they started a week ago so i shouldnt be much behind.
I looked up at the ceiling. I hadnt seen anyone my age around here except for that boy. But i havent seen him since day one.
"Scarlett! Dinner!" My mother called. I sighed loudly and trudged down stairs. My mom had the food on the table and everything set. I sat down with everyone else and put food on my plate. My dad started eating. "So scarlett, are you excited to start school tomorrow?" My dad asked chewing his food. I rolled a pea around on my plate. "Sure dad" i mumbled and took a bite. "Do you remember what classes your taking hun?" My mom asked. I nodded. Creative writing, fashion, english, math and study hall.
After dinner i helped my mom clean up then i went back upstairs and flopped into bed. Just to fall into a deep sleep.

"Scarlett hun" my mom shook me lightly. I groaned and opened an eye. My mom smiled down at me sympathetically. She knew i hated this. "Time to get up. Ill head down and make you some breakfast." I nodded and she left leaving me alone. I got up and went to my closet and pulled out skinny jeans and a white shirt along with a light blue hoodie that said "swag" on it. Quickly i stripped out of my clothes into my bra and underwear. I got a weird feeling someone was watching me. I ignored it and slid my jeans on then looked up. I gasped as my eyes met another persons. There Standing in the window of their house was a boy. He had a smirk plastered on his face. I felt my face flush as i ran over and shut the curtains. What a fucking pervert! How long had he been watching me?

After i finished doing my hair and applying a bit of makeup and brushing my teeth my mom drove me to school. I snacked on my toasted bacon sandwich on the way.
"Have a good day hun." My mom kissed my cheek making me smile faintly. I got out of the car and hesitantly walked inside. There was tons of people. I groaned mentally and walked into the main office. "Scarlett johns" i said to the secretary. "Ah your new" she said while handing me my schedule and information. "Thank you" i said and walked out. The bell rang and i groaned knowing id be late. Creative writing was my first class. Room 201. I quickly ran upstairs and slowly walked into the class when i found it. The teacher looked at me. "You must be mrs johns" he smiled a dazzling smile. I nodded and blushed. "We havent done much. Just follow along alright? By the way im mr McGuiness" he smiled. "Sit anywhere you please." I nodded and sat in the desk closest to the front. The rest of the class i just took simple notes and stared at Mr. McGuiness. He was beautiful.

The rest of the day went by in a blurr. I now had english then lunch. I managed to make it to class late. Again. When i walked in the class fell silent. "Late i see" the teacher mumbled. I sighed. "Im sorry" i mumbled as a few kids snickered. "Thats fine. Ill let it slide just this once. Your name is scarlett correct?" I nodded. She pointed to the back of the class to an empty seat. I slowly walked over and flopped down into it. Mrs jacobs(i found out that was her name) started teaching just when she got interrupted by the door opening. "Mr sykes. Your late again. Your starting to make a habit of this that i dont like." I looked up and covered my mouth to contain a gasp. It was the creep from next door! I couldnt help but stare. Holy shit he was fucking hot. His brown hair was swept up into a quiff and he was wearing a white t shirt with a black leather jacket and black jeans.
His heart shaped lips turned up into a smirk making the teacher sigh and tell him to sit down.
Please dont sit by me. Please dont sit by me. I chanted inside my mind as he walked down the isle high fiving a couple people. I rolled my eyes. Cockiness; turn off. Just when i thought he was gonna pass me he stopped and flopped into the seat next to mine. My eyes widened as he turned to me and smirked the same smirk from earlier. He then licked his lips and winked at me before turning to the front of the class and pulling his phone out.
What. A. Perv.

After lunch i walked into math class.. late yet again. The teacher scoffed and handed me a textbook before telling me to sit at the back next to "Nathan". I looked around and seen the only spot left was next to.. the perv. Nathan. I mentall groaned and walked to the back of the class. Next thing i know im on the floor and everyones laughing. I blushed embarassed and noticed the guy sitting infront of my desk tripped me. Asshole. I quickly picked my things up and sat in my seat. "Dick" i heard Nathan growl. I looked over at him as he was clenching his desk with his jaw clenched. I bit the inside of my lip and looked at the front of the class awkwardly as the teacher starting writing things on the board. 

"Have a nice fall?" The boy sitting infront of me turned and chuckled with his friends. I frowned and stayed quiet. "Awhh pretty girl doesnt like to talk huh?" He said. I stared at him and sat quietly. No way was i going to waste my breath. 

"Leave her alone." Nathan growled from beside me. I glanced at him confused. This made the guy laugh. "Oh shut it Sykes or ill kick your ass." I furrowed my eyebrows and looked back at the guy as nathan shot up and punched him right in the nose. I heard a crack and gasped as the guys nose started gushing blood. 

"Nathan!!" The teacher yeklled running over. I looked up at nathan with wide eyes. He had his hands clenched and his eyes were dark. "Dont ever talk to me like that again" he hissed and walked out of the class. 

The teacher rushed the guy out of the class withh the nose broken nose. Everyone stared at me as i slouched in my chair.

What the hell just happened.. My mind couldnt wrap around the fact that nathan just basically stuck up for me and then punched a guy in the middle of class. Ha. This guy has some nerve.
