Hi guys. Im so so so sorry i havent updated in ages. Ive just been feeling like crap and i havent had much time. Im sorry if this chapter is quite shitty also, im kinda having a writers block and my heads killing.

Scarletts POV


I jumped out of bed and danced around totally ecstatic. Yay for Fridays! 
I quickly ran to my closet and pulled out light skinny jeans, and a light pink t shirt that said "cali" in white. I then grabbed socks, a bra, and underwear then i got into the shower. Since i got up earlier i had extra time to shave.

Once i got out of the shower i got dressed then blow dried my hair and decided to straighten it. I then brushed my teeth and did my makeup. 

I walked into my room and threw my school stuff into my school bag then i walked downstairs. I grabbed myself a lunch then walked outside. Both my parents were already at work.. so yes i couldve skipped school today, but oh well. 

"Scarlett!" I heard a familiar voice call from next door. I groaned and looked over as Nathan was walking to his car. "Want a ride to school?" He asked. I laughed. "No thank you." I said and started walking. Not even 2 seconds later Nathan grabbed my arm and pulled me back. "I was trying to be nice" He hissed. I laughed and shrugged. "Scarlett. Just get in the car please." He sighed and pushed me to the car. 

Once i finally agreed, Nathan started driving us to school, but not long later we came to a complete stop outside someones house. I looked at Nathan and raised my eyebrows. He just sat there staring out the window then he honked his horn three times.

A boy ran outside and got in the backseat. "Aye Nathan thanks for the ride." He said and looked at me. A smirk came across his face making me feel instantly disgusted. Something about this guy was sketchy. "Mich, this is Scarlett, Scarlett this is Mich." Nathan said while driving. I looked out the window as Mich spoke up. "Another girl Nathan? I thought you were done fucking everyone." 

For some reason i felt my heart drop. I mean, i shouldn't have been surprised. Nathan did seem like the type of guy to fuck everyone.

Nathan growled. "Just shut up." He said. Mich laughed and i could feel him staring at me. This guy was fucking weird.

The day passed by fairly quick. I was now walking around outside. I had just finished eating. 

"Scarlett!" Someone called. I looked over seeing this Mich guy run over.  I mentally puked and crossed my arms. "Yeah?" "Are you and Nathan dating?" He smirked. "No!!" I yelled quickly. 

Mich smirked in reply. Great Scarlett. Now he probably thinks you are dating that dick. 

Mich walked close to me making me instantly back up into a wall. I swallowed hard as he placed his hands on either side of my head trapping me, "What are you doing?" I asked shakily. He chuckled and leaned closer. "You are very pretty. To pretty for that scumbag" He mumbled and kissed my neck. I gasped and tried shoving him away but he grabbed my arms and pinned them at my sides. "hmm fiesty. i like" He said and sucked on my neck. 

I panicked not knowing what to do. I was never put in a situation like this.. so i did the only thing that came to my mind. I screamed and kneed him where the sun doesn't shine. Mich grunted and fell so i quickly ran off.. but as i did, he yelled words that scared me to death. "Your going to pay for this bitch."



Nathans POV


"Where the fuck is Mich?" I asked paces frantically. "Relax hell be here." Josh said smoking. I sighed and got a feeling in my stomach. And no, not a good feeling.

"Lets just go without him." I said grabbing my gun and walking outside. 

I parked at Jonahs house and we got out. "Alright. Me and Joe will take the front door while josh and connor take the back." I said getting out. I walked up to the house slowly and quietly then i kicked the door open and me and Joe ran inside. I expected there to be shouts, for there to be bangs, for the smell of smoke and alcohol to fill the air. But there was nothing. The place looked vacant. Just what i didn't want.

Me and the boys slowly and carefully checked the house out to find no one was there. I walked over to the table and groaned as i seen a note. I picked it up and it read, "Nathan. I knew you and your "boys" would come look for us. You think your smarter? Well guess again you twat. I win. Your boy Mich was nice enough to join my side and tell us that you were coming. You will NEVER get the money you need. Just fucking give up kid. Or you WILL pay and i WILL kill everyone you know. Till then, bye. - Bobby."

I clenched my fists and yelled as i crumpled up the paper and threw it. How could that asshole Betray us!



Scarletts POV

*after school*

I walked in my house and smiled as my mother greeted me. "Hey honey!" She said pulling me into a hug. "Do you wanna go out? Have a little mother daughter time?" She asked making me laugh quietly. We always did this. She was like my best friend, and like some kids, i wasn't ashamed to go out and have fun with my mother. "Of course!" I smiled and put my backpack down. 


My mom took us to a fancy Chinese restaurant and to see a movie and now we were shopping. "Try this on!" My mom said handing me a cute floral top. I tried it on and loved it. "can i get it mom?" I asked. "Of course!" She smiled. 

The rest of the night we spent shopping and we had tons of bags. On our way home we gossiped then stopped at a store to get some treats. At home my dad was already in bed. So we quietly put our things away then we sat together and watched our favourite show.. Pretty little liars! Yes i know, its probably weird that we watch it together, but out favourite thing to do is put the clues together and guess who "A" is. My bet was Ezra, but my moms was Aria.

Once we finished a couple episodes i went upstairs and got ready for bed. My mom poked her head through the door and smiled. " I had fun tonight." She said making me smile in return. "So did i, thank you mom." I said hugging her and kissing her cheek. "Anything for you my pretty girl" she said kidding my head. I pulled back. "Good night mom, i love you." "I love you to." 

I smiled and got into bed and fell asleep with the biggest smile on my face.. Not knowing, the worst was to come.
