We keep running. We see Couer and Maria. "You, how could you both betray me like that." Maria yells at us, tries to hit Robin but he grabs her and pushes her behind us away from Couer. He pushes his knife to his fathers neck. "I'm not going to let you take her or harm either of them father." Robin threatens him. "Put the knife down boy." Couer threatens him.

"Please, you have to listen to what Maria has to say." Robin pleads. "Traitor!" Couer yells. "You are nothing to me now." My jaw drops, was his pride worth more than his own son? Robin grabs my hand and Maria's arm, I felt tiny butterflies in my stomach. "The treehouse is here." I tell them. "How can we see it?" Maria asks. "Well it's my house, My family are the keeper of the pearls."

We go inside and I go into my bedroom and towards the secret place. "Only the Moon Princess can open the hatch." I tell Maria. She walks over to the hatch and touches it, it opens, the pearls glow bright. I look at Robin, he has a smile on his face, he looks kinda attractive, we hear people outside. "Quick this way." I run over to the trap door, it's so dark in here I hear Maria whisper something to the pearls and it starts glowing. "Through here." I say.

We all hear arguing. "Stop, uncle don't." Maria says. "We have them father." Robin says. "Give me those pearls!" Couer yells at us. "Those damn pearls, they cause us nothing but heartache and grief." Sir Benjamin says. I scoff. "You two know nothing of heartache or grief." Everyone looks at me surprised with my sudden outburst.

"Father." We turn around to see who the voice belongs to Loveday. "Why is there so much hatred in your heart?" She asks. "My daughter." "Don't you want to be free of this darkness imprisoning you?" She asks. Loveday walks over to us and grabs Couer's and Benjamin's hands and puts them together. I grab Robin's hand and squeezed it, he looks at me with a sad smile and squeezed mine back. Maria puts her hand with the pearls on top of their hands.

"Look, the 5000th moon, the curse is coming true if you can sacrifice your pride, you can save the valley." She persuades them. "You first." Benjamin tells Couer. "No, no after you." "I must do this, with Rose." Maria steps up. Wait Me? Maria grabs my hand, I let go of Robin's hand. "What do I do?" I whisper. "Moral support." She whispers back. I nod. "At the 5000th moon, I Maria Merrieweather, moon princess of Moonacre, do remove this curse that darkens the valley, take back what was yours." Maria curses.

She throws the pearls, but they come back, she breaks the pearls again they come back but on her dress, she looks at the edge and I know exactly what she's thinking. "Maria don't you dare!" By the time I had gotten to her she already jumped off. "Maria!" "No!" Everyone yelled. I cry into Robin's chest, I look up at Robin who isn't crying but looking out at the sea in awe.

I look out at what Robin is seeing and I see unicorns with Maria on one of their back. A huge wave of water splashed the edge and there's Maria. Benjamin was the first to go up to her and hug her, then me. We hear a growl then we see a black lion. Wait a minute. "It's Wrolf." I say. I see Robin staring at me with a sparkle in his eyes, he walks over to me and grabs my hand.

"I have a feeling now is better than later to say this but, Rose ever since I saw you in the woods I have fell in love with you." Robin admits. I look at everyone they all have smiles on their faces especially Maria, I'm guessing she could tell I liked him. "I'm in love with you too Robin." I admit to him.

We stare into eachothers eye's and lean in, our lips connect his lips are soft as pillows. "I think we should have a engagement party." Loveday suggests. "A party we shall have." Couer says.
