I had intentionally gone to school with red clothing because that was the school color. After stepping and unstopping on people, I managed to get a seat that was a little far back from the field because I don't want to take the risk of the ball flying into my face.

As I said before, I know nothing about football. The players started coming out and I managed to spot Jake even though I was so far away. He started scanning the crowd for something or someone when his eyes landed on me and he waved. The people in front of me had turned back to see who he was waving at.

I choked!!

His face turned to that of concern and I gave him back a wave and a thumb up too signify that I was okay, even though I was still coughing. I managed to stop the coughing fit and smiled at him then gave him a proper wave. The last one was a weird one.

The other school team made their way out. I was told that Liston high was... sorry, is very good so I think the opposing team wouldn't be that much of a competition, especially since everyone has been saying that they are very very bad. Their school color is blue so I don't have to squint my eyes trying to know which school is which.

Suddenly, I felt the presence of someone beside me. I turned to look at ....Reece.

"Never knew you were a fan of football." He stated.

"Never knew you were one to have school spirit and stalk a poor girl" I countered. "And no, I am not a fan of football. Jake asked me to watch his game" I said.

"Jake Kingston?" he asked unsure and I nodded. I turned to face the field once again but not before noticing that he clenched his fists at his side.

The game started and it seemed that we were in the lead even if it just started. They may not have scored yet but with the way the players are going, I know that our school has more co-ordination than them.

I flinched when I saw Jake take a hit. It really is different from watching it on tv. My dad and brother watch football and I only sit with them but don't actually watch it. The tv only looks blurred in my vision but here, I am watching it and feeling the thrill of every moment. It is even more real because someone I know is playing.

I managed to go with the Wave. Reece didn't.

The game carried on and Reece made no attempt to help me understand the game. Meh, I don't think I would understand even if I tried. However, he did laugh at me when I mistakenly stood up to cheer when our team wasn't with the ball.

When the first half was over, the players went out for a break and the school's mascot, A came out to start dancing. The two mascots seemed to be having a dance off and ours wasn't winning. Meh, they didn't have a good football team but at least they have a good mascot.

"Reece, Are you okay?" I asked when I noticed he had turned quiet.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Do you want anything?" H asked.

" Awnn. Sweet Reece is back. And no, I don't need anything. Thanks. I do need to go to the girls bathroom." I said and made my move to leave.

When I returned, he was still there. Why was I expecting him to leave? I shook my head and sat back down beside him. H e was still silent. What could possibly be bothering my handsome bad boy?

What? It's not like I said it to his hearing. I'd never live to the end of that one.

Second half started shortly after and it was all good.

At the end, we won.. What a surprise right?
