Ash P.O.V
We were pinned down by white masks their bullets slowly breaking down the armor we were hiding behind. This is how we die, a new recruit who never talked and we never even saw his face. Decided to breach the room and hold position in front of where we were. He was probably dead from all of the bullets flying back to us.
Six Hours Earlier...
MOD P.O.VI was on my first mission from six when I heard a distress call. My mission had been to terminate the leader of the white masks but he had set a trap for me. Four walls all filled with C4 they had detonated a few seconds to soon instead of killing me it just launched my body into a few rooms over. My body had been recovering for five hours when I heard the distress signal.
"This is Rainbow Six, operatives Ash, Doc and Frost are pinned down one recruit dead. Send help!"
"Permission to save your operators six?"
"...Yes just don't over do it"
My robotics started to super charge before I punched through the concrete wall separating me from the white masks. I grabbed the one in the back of the assault team. Ten men I can see, confined in a small hall. Not the best scenario for me to not 'over do it' I pulled my hostage's pistol from its holster. I pointed it to the back of his head before he yelled out. I pulled the trigger causing the other nine to turn around and start firing at me. I flung myself into the first room before grabbing the automatic gun from the dead white mask. I crouched down and peeked the corner and unloaded into the spine of another soldier. I fell back in and went through another wall this one made of wood. I heard something snap and crunch the second I stepped through. I looked to my leg now in two parts one attached to me the other in a bear trap. I bent down and reattached the two parts before the operators turned around. I started to pry the trap open.
"Stop! Who are you, and tell me why I shouldn't put a bullet in your head?"
I put my hands up and grabbed a piece of a dog tag, I had broken my name off of the tag for privacy reasons. I threw it over to who I presumed to be Ash her fiery red hair kinda made me assume that.
"Operated... MOD. Blood type X-. What the hell is X- blood?"
I shrugged.
"Ok so you're the rescue squad, where's the rest of you guys?"
I just pointed to myself.
"Not much of a talker are you?"
"Whatever just be thankful we got backup in time!"
"What Doc said!"
I shook my head. Then a bullet wizzed by my head. I hit the deck and kept prying the trap off. The other operators came over and helped me get it off. The other girl grabbed the trap and folded it up. I got up and walked to the doorway and set position. The operators started out the hole I made. Ash was calling Six for an immediate evacuation.
"Ma'am we need an evac we got the intel send a chopper fast!"
"Eta three minutes Ash"
I grabbed one of the white masks by the head and crushed it. The others looked at me with fear. I slid my mask off to reveal the mess of blood and scars.
"...Boo!"
They all fell back and screamed. I smiled with my fake jaw, before sliding the mask back on re-linking my eye. I turned around only to bump into the other female operator she tried to peek under my mask.
Frost P.O.V
I watched as the white mask's head crumpled like paper in his hand. Just what is he? There was a extremely altered voice that spoke.
"...Boo!"
The terrorists screamed like they were young children during Halloween. I heard something snap back into place and a quiet whirring like Valkyries cameras. He turned around and bumped into me. Looking up I saw a black abyss where his left eye should be. His black and yellow mask with a camera over his right eye. He looked down and started to push me to the hole where evac was waiting. I heard a burst of bullets. I saw him flinch before turning around and shooting the mask in the head. I saw blood leaking out of his back before he kept moving to helicopter. He gestured to me to get moving.
MOD P.O.V
I got the smaller operator to the helicopter she looked at me like I was a demon. I jumped into the helicopter and sat near the edge. I sat down my legs hanging out the side. I downloaded the memories onto the hard drive in the back of my skull like Six had told me to do. She said I should always have a back up of my first mission. I never saw the base before today. The premise was huge a basketball court was on the roof. I saw a few people walking around on the helipad. We circled for a minute before landing. I hopped out of the helicopter first and started to walk to Six's office.
-Current Time-
I was reflecting upon the last hours and why I did things like I had done them a thousand times before. The less contact the better. That was all I can think about right now. Why does Six not want people to know me the soldier who just woke up from a coma of four years. The last thing I can remember from before this affliction was a IED detonation in my face. I felt my legs just freeze and I lost my vision from my right eye, collapsing in the middle of the hallway I heard a person trip over me. It was the same operator I had saved from the masks.
"Somebody get Doc, he just collapsed for no reason"
'If no reason meant a jammer was nearby'
She started to drag me through the hallway before Ash arrived and hoisted me up as well.
"Man, Frost this guy must be built like a tank!"
"Ash let's just get him to Doc"
