What was that?!? She saw a figure go by and for some reason she felt as if a magnetic force was drawing her in to investigate. But she heard her mother's voice telling her everything will be ok my little Demjin. But then her father's voice chimed in with a warning tone curiosity may have killed the cat and not the dog but have caution in your steps. Finally she decided what she was going to do. She followed the ghost.
She darted past the barrels in the ally chasing the ghost. She was a gray dog, almost wolf-like, she was very lean and stong despite how she only ate scraps from the back of restaurants and anywhere else that she thought might have scraps. By now she was sure the figure had a destination in mind.
Suddenly the mysterious figure she was chasing turned into no ally but a wall instead. I'll just have to go around. She thought. And so she hurried as fast as she could to get to the other side for the figure was out of her sight and had no smell for her to track.
She came around the last corner and that's when she saw it. She couldn't believe it. Grisha. But how that's not possible! She saw the grisha, a tidemaker, transform himself into a mist and back to solid form. She went in to attack when he turned solid but then felt a sharp pain surge trough her left flank. It was a guy named dirtyhands she herd of and his cane had hit her side. She didn't understand why he was called dirtyhands though. He wore gloves, and those gloves that he wore all the time should protected him from dirt and germs.
As dirtyhands swung his cane at the seemingly phantom, he missed each time the grisha appearing and reappearing in front of her eyes. She stood there paralyzed from fear of the unknown. Dirtyhands seemed to be shutting down to.
But then finally the sporadic swings and punches came to an end. The grisha had won and taken Dirtyhands away. Even though she gotten used to seeing strange fights in the allies this one bothered her, this one was demonic and familiar.
