"Come again, you did what?" he demanded whispering.
"I went to the club, I'm so sorry" I pleaded as I looked into Roberts eyes which held rage and anger.
"I thought it would be fine! I'm never allowed to do anything on my own, And I didn't think this would be a big deal!" I whisper yelled standing up from my chair.
"Well news flash Jackie! It is a big deal! I just don't understand how you could be so stupid! I told you not to go anywhere without you acknowledging me and you deliberately disobeyed me!" He yelled a little louder.
"You're not my father Robert. I don't have to ask you for permission to do anything" I hissed.
"Like hell you don't" he yelled stepping closer, shaking?
"Look, arguing isn't going to solve anything-" I whispered my eyes shifting towards Fallon, Who was watching us with worry on her face.
"Plus, we have bigger problems to take care of" I glanced back up at Rob through my bangs.
He was breathing heavily and his hands were shaking. He walked over to Fallon knelt down and picked her up in his arms and hugged her, putting his face in her neck. I turned around feeling tears welling up in my eyes.
"Hey" I turned back around looking at Rob.
"Maybe you should start packing your stuff, you know the drill" he advised
I sighed and walked to my room to start packing.

"Well i'm sorry Tammy we have to leave for a while but we will be back soon." I lied.
"Okay, call me when you get to Colorado okay." Her worried voice said. " And take care of sweet Fallon for me." Her voice said sadly.
"Okay, I will"
"Love you chica"
"Love you too bye"
"Bye" I hung up the phone feeling like crap.
Truth was I would probably never see her again. This always happened to every friend I had. I would always have to pack up my things and leave them. And Tammy was different from all the rest, we had a good connection. Even though I only knew her for about two months.
Tears pooled in the creases of my eyes. I let myself get too attached this time, I had to make sure that I didn't let it happen again.
I packed little and light. I couldn't bring to much, it would hold us back. I heard a light tap on the door.
"Come in" I muttered. Wiping my eyes quickly I walked to the door taking one last look at my room.
"Hey" I turned around and was face to face with Robert.
"What?"
"About before, that was out of line. I shouldn't have-."
"It's my fault." I interjected. "I should have known I was putting all of you in danger. You have nothing to be sorry for." I assured. We stared at each other.
"Come on we better get moving" he said taking my bag away from me and putting it across his shoulders.
"Time to go."

" Did you call the school about our situation?" Robert patronized me with questions, I was kind of getting sick of them.
"Yes father." I mumbled sarcastically under my breath.
"I heard that" he said. They always hear everything I say. I shrugged my shoulders and stared aimlessly out the window at the forest.
" Tammy was my first good friend you know. I don't want to leave her." I whispered sadly, looking towards Rob.
When I said her name, I saw him visibly shiver but he recovered fast. " Yeah it sucks." He said brushing it off.

Fifteenth, this would be the fifteenth town we have moved from. Its was weird like I didn't want to leave. Something in the back of my mind was pulling me back, this small town was strangely alluring? I guess it was different. I stared out at the never-ending forest. It was like it went on forever and ever. I continued to stare out, then I saw a blur run past the car. And then another and another.
"Rob, did you see that?" I asked.
"See what?" he answered.
"Never mind, I must be tired. Wait there it is again!"I cried pointing to the window.
" I see it too.." He said confused.
"Drive faster" I pleaded. Rob drove faster, and faster but more and more blurs passed the car fiercely.
Then a tall man stepped out on the road and Robert stepped harshly on the brakes. The man looked at the passenger seat where I sat and smiled he was extremely handsome.
He had dark brown hair that covered his face he had chiseled features a dominate looking face that held pink full lips that were smirking. But his eyes were black. Black as night like he was possessed, like it wasn't him looking into my soul.
His eyes made something in my want to fall to my feet and do what ever he pleased. I couldn't look away, he captivated me just like that other man at the club the other night. He beckoned me forward with his hands, and before I knew it I had my seat belt off and had the door open a crack. "What are you doing J? " Robert asked, which snapped me out of the trance I was in.
"I don't know"I answered. I was scared I started to cry.
"Don't cry jack, don't worry about us we will be fine I promise!" he said stroking my face and wiping the fallen tears.
"I can't keep lying to you..." Robert whispered and then his anger broke loose." This is exactly what mama and papa told me to keep you away from! We should have got out of here instead of coming here to see Tammy, How could I be so stupid. The day mom went missing she told me to promise to protect you, and I couldn't even do something as small as that. I promise we will see each other again" he kissed my check and hugged me. I hugged and kissed Robert back in confusion.
" Rob, what are you talking about?"
" Get Fallon out the back seat." He commanded.
" But Rob, you have to tell me what's-."
" Now!" He shouted.
I flinched but then went in the backseat where the windows were tinted. I started to unbuckle Fallon. She wrapped her little arms tightly around my neck, and clung to me.
We got out the car. Time to face the music.
