Chapter Eight {Revised}

     He watched her talk in the phone through her bedroom window. Today was the day, tonight he and his pack were going to break in and take her. She would now be by his side, and he would never let her go.

She shut off the phone and he saw tears roll down her cheeks. She was packing. What was she packing for? Were they going somewhere?
He heard rustling from approaching behind him and and smelled a familiar scent. A chocolaty brown wolf came out from behind the bushes, he recognized him as Damien his beta.

'What is it? Why aren't you at your post Damien?" He demanded through their mind link.

' Selena just contacted my office, she told my secretary that she has to leave town. Her father recently has become very ill and needed to be hospitalized. She said that he lives in another state, and she needed to be with him because he isn't in good condition.' He stated.

' She's good at running away' he sighed.

     'We must beat them to the state exit. Do not let them cross the border. 'Inform the twilight pack in case we might pass the border a little.'I commanded.

' Yes alpha' he bowed turning to leave.

' You can't run away from me that easy princess. Not this time'

" So this should temporally put her to sleep for about." She paused dropping the item from a pair of tongs in to a bag. " Four hours tops." Bailey the pack doctor stated handing me the bag.
"Thank you bailey" he muttered.
"No need to thank me alpha." She said tying her long straight blonde hair in a high ponytail. And folding her arms and leaning against the medical table. "I'd do anything for you, and our soon to be Luna" she smiled making her dimples show. He returned the smile and walked out the pack house.
  'Alpha they're close to the state borders ' his beta warned. "I'll be right there' he replied. He striped his clothes quickly, and shifted into his black wolf. And started to run furiously,  to meet his pack members at the state line.

At the rate he was going he would never make it. He let his wolf take over and started running faster. When he made it there his wolf was too excited smelling his mate. He was to determined to get their mate, to let dean take back his body. So he sat back, and watched him speed through the forest.

When he made it to the exit, his mates black van was jetting fast down the road. His wolf still had power over him in human form when he shifted. He came out from the forest and stood in front of the van until it came to an abrupt stop, a few feet in front of him.
They knew they had no where to go. No escape. They were completely surrounded, his pack wouldn't let there Luna get away from them. It was their duty, and they desperately needed for their alpha to carry on his rank. He could see his lovely mate through the windshield. She looked beyond scared, and confused.  His wolf felt terrible for making her feel like that, he wanted to comfort her and hold her. He started to use his alpha wolf to command her mind to do as he wanted.
This strategy was a very hard thing to do especially between mates. He watched her as they held eye contact not breaking for a second.
His wolf was getting a headache trying to compel her. She was reaching for the door handle in the car and opened it a crack, but her idiot bother yelled at her and she snapped out of their trance.
She started to cry which made his heart twist in pain. Her brother started talking to her, trying to calm her down. while the other one looked at him like he' started to stroke the tears from her cheeks and then he pulled her into a hug.

His wolf was getting angrier by the minute. Even though that was her brother, his wolf was very possessive considering he was an alpha and didn't like any males touching her. After some talking they started to come out the car. 
His mate slowly came out, even in her black hoodie and grey sweatpants she still looked gorgeous.
She had the little girl's hand he saw earlier today when he went to the elementary school to interview her, he rememberedher name was Nina. The little girl was adorable; trying to convince him his Selena gave birth to her. He growled at the thought if he found out his little mate wasn't a virgin he would castrate any man who dared to ever lay his hands on her.
