All characters, events, neighborhoods, streets and places are fictional. They were all figments from my brain so any resemblance people, events and places are just coincidental. Everything I write is fiction.
The pictures I use for my stories are not mine, I find them on Google, Pinterest, Getty images and other websites so I don't own credit for any of the pics, all I do is edit them to what I need for my stories. This is Savior, my captivating and interesting vampire story so as much as you enjoy reading it don't forget to vote and comment.

I wasn't really excited, not in the least. My mom and I were moving to Chateau le Star, a beautiful city in California with many European-style buildings.
Chateau le Star was where anyone would want to be, both young and old. Chateau le Star was fun but I was not happy about moving there.

My best friend Hailey Drackinson was left behind in Detroit. We've been friends since toddlers and I don't have a clue how to live without her.
"Trisha come on. Baby you're gonna have fun in Chateau le Star and meet gorgeous boys. Your life ain't over because we moved away, it still continues. Trust me you won't ever get bored in Chateau le Star."

I didn't answer my mom, all I did was sigh deeply.
At least Jack is the lucky one, he gets to stay in Detroit. Lucky guy.
"Sweetie I know it hurts but get it over with, you'll surely find another BFF like Hailey. You know, you and Hailey are still gonna chat on social medias like Skype so don't worry too much."
It doesn't matter, she can't be beside me on Skype and get to do what we always do with me.
I felt like a part of me, a part of my heart was left behind in Detroit and that part belonged to Hailey. The last look I saw on her face was sorrow, the sorrow that we were being separated.

"Here we are! Isn't it beautiful?" My mom grinned as we got out of her black Toyota corolla in the neat lawn-surrounded driveway of our new house. My mom kept how the house looked a secret from me to surprise me, she didn't show me any picture of the house and though it was beautiful I didn't care a bit.

The house was a pink and purple duplex in the suburbs, it had a yard surrounded with white picket fences, the windowsills were purple. The first floor had sash windows and the second floor had casement windows and the roof was purple and there was a small shelter with French door beside the main house.

"Hello, are you the new neighbors?" A teenage boy of my age asked my mom as he walked to us smiling. He looked like he was coming from somewhere.
"Er hi, I'm Doctor Thelma Majesty and this is my daughter Trisha and yes we are your new neighbors." My mom answered with a smile.
"Wow you're a doctor?"
"Yeah. I'm a pediatric doctor."
Urggh! I groaned inwardly. My mom had always been the friendly type and she liked handsome teenage boys.
The boy extended his hand to my mom. "Welcome to Meadow Avenue, Volen, Chateau le Star. I'm Benjamin Facett."
I snickered inwardly. He had a weird last name and this neighborhood had an unusual name, Volen. Ha! Stupid neighborhood name.
Way to go Trisha.

"Hi I'm Ben, welcome to this lovely neighborhood in a beautiful city." He said giving me a shy smile.
"Hi." I grumbled and went to drag one of my suitcases to the doorstep waiting for my mom to join me and quit talking.

My mom sighed and knowing my mother so well I knew she rolled her eyes. " Don't mind my daughter, she can be such a drama queen at times. She isn't happy moved away from Detroit 'cause her best friend is there."
He laughed. " You moved from Detroit? Cool."
"Mom!" I practically yelled as I couldn't wait any longer.

I never expected him to join us in arranging our stuffs in the house, he even carried two of my suitcases and my duffel bags. Like I even care!
I had arranged the room I chose as mine upstairs and came back downstairs to meet him and my mom chuckling.

"You're a funny and nice guy Ben. Your girlfriend must be lucky to have you." My mom grinned.
He sighed. "Actually I don't have a girlfriend."

"Why? A cutie like you?"
He blushed staring at the midnight blue carpet shyly. "Too much heartbreaks. It's too much for me to bear."
My mom gave him a sympathetic look. "I'm so sorry for asking Ben, I never knew you've been so much hurt from relationships."

He immediately got up on his feet when I shot him a glare. "Um Mrs M, I have to go. My younger sister will be waiting for me, I left her alone at home when I went to hang out with my friends."
My mom cooed. "Aww, you have a younger sister? I bet she'll be adorable and nice like you are."
He nodded. "Trust me she's nice too and really cheerful. Gotta go."
"Okay bye Benjamin, see you tomorrow darling."
My mom turned to me grinning sheepishly. "Isn't he cute, Trish?"
