The Move

( Ryan's POV )

      I wake up to the sound of my mom screaming ," Ryan! Riley! It time to get up!". "Ughhh 5 more minutes!" I scream back at her. She never yelled back up at us so we continued to lay there. "I can't believe today is the day we leave. Time went by so fast!" Riley says from her bed. We share a bed room. It's a small sized bed room, but it's enough space for the both of us. "Yeah.... I'm going miss this place," I say thinking of all the good memories I have here,"Did you say your goodbyes last night?" "Yeah, that girl, Ash, that you met. She was really nice." Riley says getting up . "Yes she was.." my voice trails off as I sit up in my bed. "Last one down stairs is a rotten egg!" She screams out of nowhere. "Oh your on!" I exclaim jumping out of bed . I put on   my denim jeans and a white shirt and I fling open the door and run down the hall into the bathroom before Riley and lock the door. "Gosh darn it Ryan!" She says from the other side of the door. "Next time don't be so slow!" I yell back fixing my hair.  I open the door and Sprint back into our room to grab my Jean jacket and a pair of blue converse . I run out the door, down the stairs and to the breakfast bar where bowls of cereal are waiting. I take a bowl and sit down at        the table.

     "You were up quick," Mom says as she packs the last box ,"Can you go wake up Mason and make sure he has everything packed , after you're done eating?" "Sure!" I say as I wash the bowl and place it in the sink.  Mason is my little brother, he's only 2 years old though so he's still little. I knock on his door, opening it quietly. "Mason... It's time to get up and get ready Bud." I say quietly , kneeling down beside the bed. He turns towards me and sits up ,"Hi Ryan," he says sleepily. I get him dressed and make sure that all of his things are packed. I carry my sleepy brother down stairs and put him in his booster seat, then placing a bowl of cereal in front of him. "Thank you Ryan." Mom says, walking back up stairs. Today's gonna be a long day.

      We get to the airport and get through security. We now get to play the waiting game for the next......hour. Mason is asleep, Riley is on her phone listening to music, so I decide to FaceTime Ash. I call her and she answers immediately,"Hi Ash!" "Hai Cutie!" She says. We talk for the next hour until they start boarding so I have to hang up. At this point Riley had joined in the conversation," Bye Ash!" she says "Bye Riley!" She says as Riley went to go grab Mason's backpack. "Bye Cutie" she says "Bye Ash" and we hang up. I pick up Mason and carry him onto the plane. Let our journey begin.

    We arrive at our new home and gosh... its H U G E. A lot bigger than I was expecting ,that's for sure. I go upstairs to my room, our room. I still share a room with Riley,but I'm fine with it. We've been living in the same room together for the past 16 years, plus we're one of few siblings that actually get along well. Our new room is bigger than our old one, but not by much. The walls are a light blue color, while the ceiling being white. "Why don't you two get your room set up, and then you two can set up Mason's room? Okay?" Mom asked us as she went down the hallway. I turn to Riley and say, "Sounds like a plan." She smiles at me and we get to work.

  After a few hours of work, our room was finished. We had blue lights hanging around the top of the room, and we had two 2 monitor set ups. One up against my bed, and one up againist her's. "I like it," Riley says," definitely the best thing we have done together. Hey now we get to do Mason's room. This should be fun."
