Today was exactly 1 week before your due date so you knew that you were getting down to the wire. Liam literally wouldn't take his eyes off of you and he wanted to make sure that he was there throughout the entire process but he was starting to get on your nerves. You were walking around the house because being on your feet seemed to take at least some of the discomfort away more than any other position
"Baby you've been on your feet for hours, I think you should rest" Liam takes your hand and leads you to the couch where he lays you down next to him as he massages your back in an effort to make some of the pain go away
"That feel any better baby" Liam asks as you feel a wave of pain go through your stomach making you wince at the unfamiliar feeling
"Yeah, a little" you breath out and feel the pain go through your stomach once again
Liam continues to rub your back as you take deep breaths to try and make the subtle jolts of pain subside
"Oh" you moan out lightly as you feel your stomach tense and a warm liquid gush down your legs making yours and your husbands eyes go wide
"Is that what I thought it was" Liam asks surprised and you nod with the same amount of surprise on your face
"My water just broke" you whisper and you see a smile form on Liam's face and kisses your lips sweetly
"Let's have a baby" Liam smiles again as he carries you to your room and calls your doctor to tell her your water had just broke and she was now racing over to your house as fast as she humanly could.
Liam helps you to change out of your pants and he dresses you in a large t-shirt that was barely covered you baby bump but since it was just you and Liam it really didn't matter all that much to you
The contractions seemed to be slow at first just painful enough for you to lightly squeeze your husbands hand
"That's it sweetheart" Liam whispers as you squeeze his hand and breath yourself through the small contractions
You hear someone ring your doorbell and Liam runs down the stairs to greet your doctor and your nurse
"Nice to see you again Y/N" Dr.Miller says as she pulls you into a hug and of course you hug her back
"Thank you for coming so quickly Doctor" you tell her as Liam moves back next to you
"How are the contractions right now?" Right as she said that one grips onto your stomach making you groan slightly as you try to find your husbands hand
"I guess that answers my question" you chuckle slightly but you were still having the pain through your body. Your doctor then puts on a latex glove and goes to see how far you are dilated
"Okay sweetie I promise you this won't hurt I'm just checking to see how far along you are" she assures you as she checks your progress
"Your about 4 centimeters right now, so I'll try to check you every hour but I don't want to overdo it and stress the baby out" she explains to you and you nod in agreement
"Liam" you whisper and your husband frantically closes his attention into you and you alone
"Squeeze my hand love, don't worry about hurting me just do anything to try and take some of the pain away" your husband insists and you waste no time to grab onto his hands a squeeze tightly as to feel a contraction sweep through your back
Your nurse was kind enough to rub your back with each contraction and Liam would massage any part of your body that was hurting in any effort to take at least some of your pain and suffering away
