~Liam~
Just the word doctor made you get the chills. Everything about doctors and hospitals or anything associated with it made you uncomfortable. But you also knew that being pregnant was going to require doctors appointments and everything that you knew you would hate, but you sucked it up and made the best of it.
You and Liam were sitting together anxiously waiting for the doctor to call your name so that you could finally see your baby for the first time. Liam grabs your hand because he knows that you are a bundle of nerves and he wanted to do all that he could to try and sooth some of those emotions.
"Mrs.Payne" one of the nurses calls your name, you and Liam stand up and walk to the the ultrasound room where you two are greeted by your doctor
"Hello Y/N I'm Dr.Miller and I will be your doctor through this whole process" she explains to you as you shake your hand, you smile back at her
"I understand that this is your first pregnancy correct?" she asks looking down at my papers
"Yeah, first everything" she nods her head
"Okay well I'm going to get started, I'm going to have you lay back and lift up your shirt" she instructs and you follow her instructions. She then pulls out this gel stuff to place on your stomach
"I am going to warn you that this may be cold so just be prepared" she warns me as she places the gel on your bare stomach making chills run through your body and making you grip onto Liam's hand tighter
For a few minutes she moves the white stick around your stomach till you hear a strong pumping noise and a visible figure appears on the ultrasound screen
"The sound you are hearing is the baby's heartbeat" the doctor explains as you look towards your husband who visibly has tears brimming in his eyes
"The baby looks perfectly healthy and you seem to be about 12 weeks along, so I will see you back for a 15 week check up. Would you like pictures to take home?" She asks, I nod your head as she removes the gel from off your stomach.
You turn my attention to Liam who had a few tears in his eyes as he pulls you into a sweet kiss
"I cannot believe that we are really having a baby, we created this" he places his hand on your stomach as you smile up at him
"I don't think I've loved you more than I do right now" you let a few tears fall as you hug your husband tightly
~Louis~
"Babe I can't believe this is really happening, we get to see our baby today I'm so excited!" Louis yells as he pulls you by your hand into the doctors office for your first ultrasound appointment
"Louis if you pull me any harder I don't think I'll have an arm by the end of this" he lets go of your hand as you sit in the waiting room waiting not so patiently for your doctor to call your name
The minutes almost seemed like years to you because much like your husband you were absolutely dying to see your little baby. The anticipation was nearly killing you as you watched the clock with every second ticking by
"Mrs.Tomlinson" Your Doctor calls you and you feel your nerves immediately rest and they rest even more when Louis takes your hand in his
You were escorted to the ultrasound room where your journey into parenthood is basically going to start
"Well allow me to introduce myself my name is Dr.Anderson and I will be your doctor through your whole pregnancy journey" she says as she shakes yours and Louis hands
"I hope that your ready to see your baby, I can almost see the anticipation in your faces" you and Louis both laugh at her comment and begin the whole reason of why you were at this appointment, to see your baby
