Yoojin's POV
Today was the day of my interview. My sweet brothers bought me a blouse, skirt, and heels to wear. I must admit, I have never been this professional looking in my life.
"Yoojin ah!! Are you ready to go?" my dad asks
"Ahhh I think so. I'm so nervouss!!" I say
"NOONA HWATING!!" shouts my brothers as I give them a bear hug
"Good luck!!" says my mom
I head to the car with my dad.
"Just relax and say everything you said while practicing k?"
"Yep I can do this!!"
When I get to the company, I'm astonished. WHY IS IT SO HUMONGOUS?!?!
I slowly enter the building while looking up at the ceiling that's like 10101 feet above me. And of course, the dumb me has to bump into someone. (Please spare me ik this scenario is so cliche🙄🙄)
"AH SO SORRY" I immediately apologize, just in case I ever get picked into this company. Gotta leave a good impression right??
"Oh it's ok. Do you need help getting somewhere?" says a small face dude
My gosh why is this handsome cute boy here..... NO YOOJIN YOU MUST NOT GET FLUSTERED!
"I just needed to get to the intern interview room..."
"OH OK! I was just heading there anyways. I also signed up. Follow me!" he says with a bright smile
Please...don't smile like that.....
We arrive at the room and there are a bunch of people practicing their introductory lines.
"Well...thanks..." I say avoiding his eye contact
"You're very pretty you know" he abruptly says
I freeze. These are the same exact words Minhyun oppa said to me when he first confessed to me.
"Thanks...."
"Aw that was a compliment must you be so cold like that?"
"You barely even know me. In fact you don't even know my name! Who gives you the right to judge me?!"
"Woah woah ok I'm sorry" he says with a flash of hurt in his eyes
Argh Yoojin! WHY CAN'T I CONTROL MY FEELINGS!?!?!
"I-I'm sorry....its just, I have a bad past relationship--I MEAN uh....I have this trauma you know...." I say
"Um ok..." he says. Then he turns around and starts to leave.
"WAIT! What's your name?" I ask
"Jinyoung. Bae Jinyoung"
"Oh my name is Han Yoojin. Good luck on the interview!" I say
"You too....although I don't need any luck..." he says, muttering the last part so I barely hear it.
Time Skip
"Number 54 and 55 please" says the assistant lady
I quickly get up and go into the room. So does another girl near my age.
"Hello please have a seat. I am Bae Hyunmin, CEO of this company and these are some of our high employees" he says, gesturing towards the people next to him
"Please introduce yourselves" says a woman
"Hello my name is Kang Eunjung. I studied abroad for 10 years and I have a lot of experience in this area because my dad works in a company like this" the girl says smugly
Ph does she think shes all that?
"Hello my name is Han Yoojin. I don't have much experience but I'm determined to try hard and make the most out of my intern experiences!" I say brightly
"Ok thank you ladies. Our attendant will lead you to another room for further questions" CEO Bae says, while we head out
"Hey you. Do you think you'll get in even with no experience?" asks that Kang Eunjung girl
"Then what should I do. Lie?" I scoff at her and walk away
Time Skip
"The list of final interns will be posted on the official website. You may now leave." announces the attendant
As I'm leaving the building, stupid Kang Eunjung purposely bumps into me.
"Oopsiess my bad. Didnt see you" she says as she sashyes to her expensive car
Urgh if I get picked I better not be in the same office as her.
