Chapter 5

Yoojin's POV

"APPA EOMMA GUESS WHAT!!!" I shout out

"What's all the ruckus??" asks Woojin

"I WAS PICKED TO INTERN!! AHHH I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! I MADE IT EVEN THOUGH I HAVE ZERO EXPERIENCE!"

"OH REALLY? CONGRATULATIONS!!" says my parents

"I start work next week Monday. SO EXCITEDD" I squeal

Time Skip

I was finally at the company and I saw a familiar face.

"Hey. Guess you got picked?" I ask

"Yep. Not a surprise though" Bae Jinyoung says

I scoff a little and think, why would he be so sure...

We find our rooms and turns out, Jinyoung and I are in the same office.

"Ah hello you guys must be the interns. My name is Ong Seungwu. You can call me Ong timjangnim. I'm the head of this team and I hope we can have a good year!" He says cheerfully

"Those two desks will be yours and were supposed to have one more intern........." Ong timjangnim says, just as someone barges through the door

"Sorry I was late. I had some business.." says Kang Eunjung. Yep you guessed it. KANG EUNJUNG YOU WILL BE MY WORST ENEMYYY!!!

"Ah wonderful. Now our attendance is full" says Ong timjangnim. He continues explaining our task for the day and we go off to work.

"Hmm what a surprise....how are you here?!?!" smirks Kang Eunjung

I ignore her and ask Jinyoung something about our task. (Lets just say Jinyoung and Yoojin sit across from each other and Eunjung is next to Yoojin) Suddenly, Kang Eunjung grabs my arm and with puppy eyes says, "Are you close with that boy over there?"

"Um not really...but we talked..." I answer, confused

"Well, I just wanted to say, let's be friends. I was sorry for before, I just had some rough days....." Kang Eunjung says

Um bit*h no thanks. I already know your true intentions. I had plenty of these experiences and hardships when I was marrying Minhyun oppa...oh how many girls I had to overcome who were clinging onto him.

"Uh...whatever..." I say while rolling my eyes

"OH YAY I'LL TAKE THAT AS A YES!" she squeals while hugging me🤮

"Excuse me, can one of you girls and Jinyoung go down to the basement to get some files? They're in boxes so it can be heavy" Ong timjangnim asks us

"Oh sure I can go--" I start

"NO PROBLEMO! Jinyoung sshiiiii lets go" Kang Eunjung says in a flirty tone

Oh poor Bae Jinyoung I feel bad for you

Jinyoung's POV

When Ong timjangnim asks us to get the files, I immediately want to say, "Yoojin sshi can you go with me?"

However, that Kang Eunjoo or whatever name she was grabs my arm and pulls me out of the office.

"Um can you let go please" I ask, trying to be polite

"Oh sure" she says while letting go of my arm but COMING EVEN CLOSER!!

I hurry my footsteps and open the door and lift up a box. Kang whatever her name is also lifts one up and leaves the room.

"Ahh so heavyy why do they make weak girls hold these stuff??"

Omfg YOU WANTED TO COME

I walk in front of her but soon I hear a shuffling behind me and a BOOM

"OWIEEE IT HURTS SO MUCH. OPPA PLEASE HELP ME" she cries

Since when did I become your 'oppa'

"Just get on my back I'll take you to the clinic" I sigh, knowing that's the only way this situation would be cleared

I take her to the clinic and the nurse says it's just a minor sprain and she should be fine.

"Oppa it still hurts can you help me??" she asks while batting her eyelashes

"Fine" I sigh while sliding my arm around her waist

When we get back to our office, everyone stares at us. I take a glance at Yoojin and is that.......HER GLARING?!?!?!?!?!?!

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU GUYS ARE DOING?" shouts Ong timjangnim

"Were sorry, she sprained her ankle so it took a long time...." I try to explain

"You were given one simple task. Carry two boxes up to the 5th floor, and theres something called elevators" says Ong timjangnim

"I'm sorry. I'll go back and get them" I say

"Enough is enough. I will send our other more responsible employees down. And you two will stay after work" Ong timjangnim says

"Yes sir" I mutter
