The Complication.

Trey's P.O.V.

Every damn day, I have to look at her beautiful face and know it can't be mine. Why does she have to date that stupid guy over me? Yes, we had a chance together, but just because she decided to look over my shoulder doesn't mean I don't love her anymore. Yes, I got mad at her for cheating, and I know she hurt me, but I'm still in love with her. I want her back, but I don't think she wants me. She cant even look at me anymore. I don't even know why. I cant take pretending not to stare or glance at her anymore. I need to talk to her. Today it should be easy, because I don't see her boyfriend anywhere. Well here I go.

I have two classes with her, but I think my best bet would be to try in science class. I have to make sure her boyfriend isn't here today. Science is at the end of the day I might get a chance to walk her home. The bell rings, and she walks in the door. She seems extremely happy and relieved. She even smiles and walks over to me!

"Hey."

"Hi Tori."

I give her an awkward smile.

"What? I cant talk to you now?"

"No you can, its just that you never talk to me."

"Oh i see... well is it awkward for you?"

"No is it for you?"

"Nope."

Then our science teacher starts his lesson. It gets really boring so I start drawing in my notebook.

"Trey. What does Au stand for?"

"Gold, but what has this got to do with the lesson?"

"Nothing, nice to know you are paying attention."

I just give him a nod and continue with the drawing. When I finish, I notice everyone working on a worksheet. I get set to work on it. Within the next 15 minutes i'm finished. Tori is still working so I just start to draw. First I draw the eyes, with the long eyelashes. Next comes the mouth, nose, ears, and the long, wavy hair. Before I know it, my drawing looks exactly like Tori.

"Wow, you're an amazing artist."

"Thanks."

I think to myself, does she realize it's her? Since we are done the teacher collects our papers and since there is about 20 minutes left, we are free to go.

"Can I walk you home, Tori?"

"Yea I'd like that."

We talk the whole way there.

"Listen Tori, i have something to tell you."

"Alright what is it?"

"Well first, why did you cheat on me?"

She takes a deep breath before answering me.

"Because he told me that you were cheating on me, and I got upset and angry and I kissed him. And it felt good to know that I was getting back for what you did to me. But when I found out you didn't cheat on me, I was pissed. And I met him at the park and I unleashed my fury on him."

"Then why are you still dating him if he lied to you?"

We were already at her house and she was hesitating.

"Come in we cant talk out here."

So I follow her inside. She pulls me into her room and she shuts the door, and closes the curtains.

"Are you going to tell me why?"

I ask her again. Again she takes a deep breath before she answers.
