Grabbing onto the cold, silver handle, you push the door open and look around the classroom.

There were 3 or 4 people already in the room but that didn't faze you.

What did interest you were the vast amounts of paints, brushes and pencils that littered the room, you almost fainted at the sight of it all.

The strong scent of aged acrylic paints wafted around the room bringing a small tingle down your spine and through your nostrils. Projects, from clay sculptures to chalk pieces, lined the walls and shelves of the large art room, some done noticeably by Kurenai-Sensei, others not.

An example of this was a scratchy pen drawing of Haruno Sakura, obviously by Uzumaki Naruto. The assignment was to draw something you adore, an array of differences throughout your Art class.

Hinata-San had drawn her younger sister Hanabi, who she got along with very well.

Inuzuka Kiba had drawn his large dog Akamaru, which he boasted about almost daily.

Nara Shikamaru had drawn a shogi board. Actually, a half-drawn shogi board, it wasn't finished due to his abundant laziness.

Haruno Sakura, Yamanaka Ino and 99% of the girls of your class had drawn Uchiha Sasuke (excluding yourself and Hinata).

Uchiha Sasuke himself had drawn a murder of crows, he hadn't specified why or what it symbolised. You guess he just likes crows.

(A/N : Fun fact, the collective noun for crows is literally a 'murder' of crows. Never looking at them the same again.)

Aburame Shino had drawn one of his pet Hercules Beetles, and though he usually didn't show it, you knew Aburame-San absolutely loved his beetles.

Akimichi Choji, surprisingly, had drawn a bag of chips. You could tell how much he cared for them by how detailed it was drawn and how passionate he was about his adoration of his food.

You had drawn the setting sun over a horizon of the ocean, an idyllic life on the beach where you would never run out of things to draw.

Naruto must've begged the woman for weeks to put it up, the art teacher would never let something like that be displayed in her classroom. However you guessed that she had some sort of pity for the boy, really thinking he had a shot with Eighthead.

Poor Naruto had gotten rejected before he even voiced his confession, the drawing (if you could call it that) was explanation enough for the situation, a downright 'no' from his crush was unpreventable.

The amount of talking echoing around obviously meant that Kurenai-Sensei had not yet arrived. After all, it still was pretty early.

You then notice the absence of multiple chairs that had been present during your art lessons, actually, only one seat remained.

The stool aligned with the easel so perfectly that it was if the canvas was calling out to you. Stars appeared in your eyes at the magnificence of the display in front of you.

'I truly am in heaven!' You thought, squealing in your head. You sit on the wooden stool, creaking slightly, almost identical to the one you had at home.

You expect Kurenai-Sensei to walk in when you heard the door open, but was instead greeted by Asuma-Sensei and two other students behind him.

"Kurenai has called in sick today and cannot be present at the moment." Groans filled the class, of course, they were hoping for the easy-going art teacher to accompany their lesson. "However, these two entrusted seniors will instead take over as your teachers as no substitutes are available."
