They had not gone far by the time they felt a pinching on their arm, and turned to find monsterkid's mouth around it. He began to mumble something "whwmwwhmmmuhmm -he stopped biting down on her arm- Sorry. I was told to ask you to go back to the lab, wherever that is, right now. Or something like that." And so she did, returning to the lab in waterfall, greeted by Alphys with a concerned look. After shooing away monsterkid, calling it top secret, alphys began explaining her urgency "it's Gaster, he's..... I'll say, sick. I made him far too powerful for his own good, he's tearing himself apart on a cellular level, and that's why I need you. I have a copy of Six down on the other floor, but it's crawling with my other hunter weapons, there's no one else who can get down there and back alive who won't just destroy my copy of six. Six's parts can fix him, he could have got them, but not in his condition." As this was said, a familiar shadow-like figure wobbled as it moved towards them, and the voice came from everywhere like before "ah, it's you, Frisk,-he was interupted by a hacking cough- thank you for coming, as you may be able to tell, I am not in the best of health. I believe that mother dearest here has told you why you were invited?-Frisk nodded- E-Ecsuse me, -he began wheezing and turned to wipe the purple blood from his mouth- I'll get out of your way." He trailed off, then abruptly left. Frisk headed down to the lower level as instructed, and upon leaving the room in which 46 had lived prior to her previous encounter with him, was met with grotesque horrors of all shapes and sizes. The half-formed creatures attempted to attack her, but a few blasts knocked them aside. Despite the hunter weapons' frightening strength and tenacity, slipping through them and seizing the deactivated copy of six proved to be of little issue. Apart from a single one, which lunged at them and griped on, until struck off. When they returned to the upper floor, they saw the exhuasted and feeble-looking figure of 46 sprawled out across the ground. Alphys was holding his hand, looking distressed. She told frisk to break the six copy into smaller parts, and place the peices on him. Doing as they were told, they noticed a black fluid absorb the parts. Not long after, the untraceable voice of gaster came again, albeit very faintly "thank...you......frisk.....-he stirred slightly, then sat up- I feel somewhat better, still quite dizzy and rather weak, but no longer deathly." Frisk smiled at him, and suddenly felt strange herself. Alphys asked if she had touched any of the hunter weapons,to which she answered yes. After a moment's thought she spoke again "It must have been 25, his skin produces a potent tranquilliser, shouldn't be too bad, depending on on how long he grabed you...." Frisk felt their eylids become extremely heavy, and before they heard another word, they were asleep.
