Chapter 3: As a group Part 2

Around two years later

(1st person)

A new cadet joined the survey core, Eren Jeager, he possesses the power to transform into a titan. He only a teenager. His fathers basement in shinganshina apparently holds the truth about the titans so Erwin made a plan to go back to shinganshina which lead to today.

New scout members where assigned to the mission for example Eren's stepsister Mikasa and their friend Armin. I got to befriend them with time we had until the day. The plan wasn't correct our mission wasn't to get to shinganshina, it was to capture the FEMALE TITAN. An intelligent titan like Eren but skilled, powerful, evil. She possessed the power to harden her skin including the weak spot. The nape. "Green smoke" Gunther noted whilst me and my childhood friend (when we where around 14) Eld where talking why we where changing direction whilst retreating. Soon after Gunther fired a green smoke signal no one was behind or beside us so it was basically pointless but soon I learned it was so she knew where we where.

In seconds she swing down and killed him right in front of me. Eren started to freak out but we had to keep going. Seconds later she transformed ready for us to kill her. Eren finally agreed to go on ahead. We charged we attacked till she was weak. Weak enough for us to kill her. Eld grappled down to get around to her nape... A twist of her head lead him straight into her mouth biting him in half.

I wanted to puke. I wanted to scream and cry.

She spat him out as she got up I looked at her and noticed she stored her energy in one eye so she could see. She started charging. No. Petra! I couldn't let her be next i started grappling towards her but i was too late. Right in front of me her body laid there against that tree. It must have been painful. I looked behind me to see Oluo charging towards the female titan. He must have been mad, he loved Petra so much, it was obvious. "NO!!!" I shouted but it was too late. I looked at Eren, he was: scared, sad. He wanted to do it. He needed to do it. I grappled away trying to flee but I... I was too late i quickly shouted the one name, the one person i needed most right now. "Levi!" I shouted louder than ever like a full blown scream. It was soon cut off.

(3rd person)

The female titan quickly smashed her into a branch. She gasped for air slowly saying 'Levi' one more time but he already heard her the first time. She slowly started to cry as the female titan's hand moved away letting her fall to the lower branch He already started to get to them before hearing Eren's titan scream. He knew something wrong happened, to hear (Y/N) screaming like that.

She started to remember something about Levi before finally passing out. He passed through the corpses of his squad stopped at Petra's regretting leaving them before remembering (Y/N). He looked around everywhere before seeing a body laying still on the branch. He grappled over saying to himself "No" over and over again. He sat down beside her lifting (Y/N) up... she was still breathing, faintly, as blood covered her chest. "Shit" he whispered before laying her back down and going after Eren.

A few minutes later...

Levi came back and picked (Y/N) up to take her back to a wagon whilst other comrades picked up Petra.

(1st Person)

I slowly open my eyes to see Levi carrying me, i coughed slightly due to my injuries. He looked down at me worried. "(Y/N)!?" Levi said holding me up slightly "What happened?! It was the female titan wasn't it!" He said in a worried tone. "I'm..." i coughed i couldn't speak in full sentences "Fine...what happened to....you" I giggled a little. "This is no laughing matter (Y/N)" He put me down on the carriage.
