Chapter 4: The fight

(1st Person)

"But seriously...Levi...What's wrong with... you.. you're... limping." I said as he tried to ignore the question walking off to his horse. "I'll tell your later." He replied getting on his horse as everyone started to move. I closed my eyes hoping to reach home faster ignoring the pain. Soon enough i overheard Levi and some other soldiers. "No one special is there, throw them off!" I heard Levi order as i opened my eyes and looked behind me to see the two soldiers throwing off the dead bodies to see one of my fellow best friends face peaking out. "Petra..." I silently said to myself looking down. Soon enough we reached back home with Mikasa trying to comfort me.

I looked at a soldier, who was very upset about their friend, staring at the badge of our uniforms...the wings of freedom... but...it seemed familiar. The blood...the way it's across the badge...seeping through the back of the badge...not like they where eaten, they didn't even find their friend it's.....Petra's! I turned to Levi and he was eyeing it...he gave it to him...why? Soon I heard Petra's father going to talk to Levi about her emotions, they've been secretly dating so i know it hurts Levi on the inside. His face really showed this when her father mentioned marriage.

I couldn't stand it, Eren crying behind me, Petra's father, the crowed. I closed my eyes and blocked out everything. Soon enough i felt Levi gently punching my arm to open my eyes. I do so to see him helping me up to go rest as they help out with my injury. Luckily I wasn't damaged too much so I could be helped quickly.

A few days later

Eren has been in bed for a while getting better from his injury but seems to look way better now. Both me and Levi sat with him waiting for Erwin to call us in. "I'm sorry" said Eren "I got you both injured." I cut him off before he could continue. "No... Don't apologise... We did it for you."

"That's the problem..."

"Eren!" I shouted before Levi finally started to talk "I would like it if you two stopped talking about this and focus on why Erwin is talking so long." I looked away knowing why he said that... It just reminds him of Petra... he doesn't need this. Not now. Not ever.

A few days later

 The plans ready, I'm still recovering so I'm unable to help no matter how much i wan't to. The female titan... Annie had already revealed herself and is rampaging through the city. But where is Eren, he should have transformed by now. I think Levi is wondering too. Erwin being dragged off by the Military police before Eren comes storming down the street after the female titan. Sooner or later she gets away and tries to climb the wall I can't I have to help. I grappled to the wall hearing Levi shouting at me. I quickly and swiftly cut of her fingers on one hand before cutting the other.

"Burn in hell" I said as i jumped of her worried face. Soon enough Eren pounced on her with so much fury...
