I am having the time of my life! The ball room had been transformed into an upscale nightclub with V.I.P. sections for the guests of honor. My jaw nearly hit the floor the moment DJ Khalid appeared and announced that he'd be arranging the music tonight..

"I heard he was in town so I hired him to be the DJ.. He wasn't hard to convince. As soon as he saw how much I was offering he immediately said yes.. And canceled the engagement he was obligated to attend" Lily had said to me the moment he made the announcement..

His music selections kept the crowd hyped, even tho Lily forbade him to play certain trap music. That pretty much canceled out a lot of today's hip hop artists but that's okay, I'm still having a blast. As soon as the Wobble by V.I.C. played almost every female got on the dance floor. The Wobble may not ever get old, and will possibly go down in history as the most requested line song at parties. I managed to coax Lily into joining us with the help of everyone else encouraging her as well. "Come on n show us whatcha got Miss Lily!" My handmaid Brie yelled over the music.. She actually caught on quite fast and I can tell that she was truly enjoying herself. To witness the ever so serious Lily lighten up and have some actual fun was priceless.

If someone had told me two years ago that I'd someday be doing the Wobble with a Demoness, Werewolves, Royalty, and Georgia's finest.. I would've thought they had taken too big of a hit from a glass pipe. But here I am. Dancing alongside an Ethiopian princess, an Alpha Were with Lily joining in. Oh how my life has dramatically changed.. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

As we left the dancefloor... A tall and extremely pale man with long black hair, intense dark eyes, and red lips approached us while clapping his hands..

"Well that truly was a sight to see.. Lilith dancing to modern music" he said in a Russian-like accent..

"Why I can hardly believe my eyes as well... Vlad Dracula himself is here in the United States" Lily replied and smiled with a look of disbelief..

"In the flesh" he replied and kissed both sides of Lily's cheeks.. "My apologies for showing up unannounced" He continued..

"Nonsense.. It is always a pleasure to see you old friend. I would've sent you an invitation had I known you'd come" said Lily..

"You were right to think otherwise, I wouldn't be caught dead in this country... Pun intended" He said with a wink making  Haseya and Lily erupt in laughter.. "However, I could not miss the opportunity to meet the human that won the favor of Lilith. I am very pleased to finally meet you Lady Gabrielle" He continued and kissed the back of my hand.. "Your name is all the buzz throughout the world young lady"

His lips were ice cold and he looks quite menacing, but I'm not afraid. Instead I'm starstruck as if I am being acquainted with an A-list celebrity... "You're Vlad The Impaler" I replied in awe.. "Vlad The Impaler is at my party!" I turned and excitedly said to Lily who simply smiles and looks at me with amusement..

"Well... No one's referred to me as The Impaler in a very long time.. Not since I was human in fact" he said

"Oh... I'm sorry if I have offended you... It's just... You're one of my favorite people  in history" I replied..

"No apology needed.. I'm actually quite impressed. I've never known a human outside of my country to be fond of ME...  Care to explain why?" He asked..

"You are the only Monarch during the Dark Ages that genuinely fought to protect your people, and not for your own self interests.. Was impaling invaders a grotesque act?... Absolutely but it was effective! No one dared to cross the Romanian borders to terrorize and ransack villages ever again. You put fear in the hearts of Emperors and corrupt Popes. Thanks to you... None of your people knew hunger or illness... Because you were not a greedy King. My heart nearly broke when I read where your own council conspired against you for more wealth and power" I rambled on and stopped as I caught myself getting carried away..
