I've invited Atlanta's most elite humans to Gabrielle's 21st birthday celebration. As well as Royals from the UK, Ethiopia, and Saudi Arabia. Georgia's State Representatives, Senators, and Judges are also in attendance. Most of whom are Weres, and have already been acquainted with the birthday girl. They were a bit snobbish towards her at first. Many of them feel that humans have become uncivilized creatures. That they are ignorant to the importance of tribal unity. The Were-Leopards of Kenya are the most judgmental of them all. They unlike other Weres prefer to keep their distance from human kind altogether, and have created their own society in an ether realm. If a human mistakingly wandered into a portal leading into their world, they'd be killed on the spot. I knew that inviting them was out of the question.

Werewolves and Jaguars are much more tolerating. Although they feel superior to their human cousins, they still offer support. Especially to the tribal peoples of North and South America struggling to preserve their heritage in a greedy capitalistic world. Ahiga and Haseya, the alpha male and female of a pack of Navajo Werewolves, happily accepted the invitation to tonight's soiree. Haseya being the most enthusiastic. She became quite fond of Gabrielle the moment she noticed how quickly the human learned. Ahiga simply adores beautiful women be they human or Were. To his dismay, I assured him that this was not that type of party.

So far everything is going as planned. Most of the guests have arrived and the servants are all on que serving champagne and hors d'oeuvres. Soon Gabrielle will make her grand entrance which everyone anxiously awaits. I too am excited. I can hardly wait to finally see her in the gown that I had gotten tailored especially for her. I'm sure she's going to be absolutely breathtaking..

"Everything's set up so beautifully Lily.. You've really outdone yourself" said Haseya..

"Gabrielle deserves it.. She's come along quite well don't you agree?" I replied..

"Indeed she has... I know I've said this countless times before, but I am still shocked that you care so much for a human" she said..

"Haseya I shock myself sometimes" I said and giggled... "However, this isn't the first time I've made a human my progeny.. It has always been a bit of a project of mine, tho I haven't indulged in over 2,000 years" I continued..

"Why so long?" Haseya inquired..

"Ughh.. The last was an epic failure" I exasperatedly said with an eye roll.. "She allowed her heart to steer her off of the path to complete domination. And the man she chose to love betrayed her.. As men often do. Her final act of rebellion was suicide by way of asps... Pity. She could've had all of Rome under her thumb" I said in disappointment, then took a sip of champagne..

"How awful" Haseya knitted her brows and said..

"Most of them failed unfortunately. It's not their fault... Eve's blood flows through their veins. Cleopatra's failure is why I decided to give up such a hobby. They're not my children so why should I bother to care for them" I replied and shrugged
