I return to the tower with a Fallen com-link I took out of Sepiks I bring it to Cayde to see if he can decrypt it and he says he'll stay in touch (I literally go to him for everything so he doesn't have a choice but okay). I go around the tower and then Eris stops me on my way out. Eris Morn is a tower vendor with three black bleeding eyes covered by a burlap cloth and warlock like robes.
"There's a problem involving the Hive moving past Earth's Moon" Cayde hears this and walks over
"We gave up the Moon so the Hive couldn't spread there's no way they're getting off that planet without some sort of higher power in control again, but that hasn't happened since Crota." and he starts arguing with Eris and he waves me off. I start heading to my room and look at the deck of cards that are labeled "Hive" and read about how they are infested creates that are trying to steal the Travelers light to become more powerful to turn our world's in their own image. I go to Earth and start observing not seeing much that points out hive activity and so I pull out a telescope and look up at the Moon and see nothing but abandoned archive buildings then I see a T shaped ship came in and dropped off a few Thrall with Acolytes behind them, I shot a few of them and when one of the Acolytes heads were shot off a worm like creature fell into the ground, after all the Hive were eliminated I leave and head for the tower, Eris was in her normal spot staring into her ball with what looks like a rock surrounded in green flames.
"Eris, the Hive were on Earth I took out a wave that came from a drop ship an-" she looks at me and corrects me
"Tombship, it's not a drop ship it's a Tombship" and then she looks back at her rock and sits emotionless, "continue"
"Okay" I say aggravated because I hate being interrupted over stupid crap that doesn't matter "There were Hive on Earth that came from a, Tombship, and when I killed one of them there was a worm type thing that came out of his head"
Eris looks up from her rock "Then the rumors are true, Crota has returned, Guardian I-" I cut her off
"Ace, my name is Ace" she looks over at me as if she has zero sense of humor and so I look at her rock "you may continue"
"I need you to go to Earth and look into this, inform me of your findings" I just walk away because I know what she wants and because what's the point of cutting someone off and correcting them if they don't correct themselves afterwards. I get to the end of the hallway and she stops me.
