Prologue
What will happen if the one you love suddenly breaks up with you for another girl? Can you take it?
"Pup, do you really have to go?"
"Yes, I have to. This is for our future anyway. Remember, I'll be coming back and I will marry you once I finish the exchange program." Neil said assuringly.
Nica went with Neil to the airport alongside his parents. "Bye, Neil. We will miss you" Neil's mom said while crying.
"Do your best son! Remember the future of our company." His dad said while tapping his shoulder.
"Bye, Neil. I'll miss you."
Now it was Nica's turn to say her goodbyes. "Don't worry, I'll come back after the five-year exchange program, Kitten." Neil assured her.
"Ok, Puppy. Go before your plane leaves you. Oh! Remember to behave!" Nica said while Neil was on his way boarding his flight.
Neil looked back once more and mouthed the words 'I love you, Kitten' to Nica. Nica also mouthed those words to Neil.
What will Nica do now? Will their love weaken once Nick got settled in the US? or will the fire of their love keep burning? What will happen in these five years?
