Beautiful... She was beautiful. Gorgeous really. Everyone must of made her feel so bad. I want to be friends with her, but I want to be friends with everyone! Honestly, this is confusifying. What do I do?

"I am sure you are very bright." the head mistress said. "Bright? She's phosphorescent!" I exclaimed. Everyone laughed. Elphaba looked down. Great. I hurt her feelings. I felt this feeling inside my stomach that I couldn't explain. I had to cover up. "You know, I don't think she even read my essay!" ShenShen spoke up and said "That's not fair!" Biq, the munchkin chimed in. "You should say something!" I looked down quickly and then back up. "Should I?" Pfanne said, "Do it!"

Madame Morrible began to speak again. "Which one of you young ladies would like to volunteer to share a room with Miss Elphaba?" Now was my chance! Make it look like an accident. Make it quick. Pretend to fight it. My hand shot up. "Madame Morrible-"

"Thank you dear! How good of you!" I smiled quickly and then gasped and pretended to disapprove. "What?" I yelled out. "Miss Elphaba," Madame Morrible spoke, "You may share a room with Miss Galinda." "Huh?" I pretend to be utterly confused and upset.

The head mistress started to speak to Elphaba regarding her sister. I stared at Elphaba a bit rudely, but I just wanted to look at how beautiful she is.

All of a sudden, Her sister's wheelchair starts moving back to her with green smoke. "How did you do that?" Madame Morrible said. "How did she do that?" I repeated. She is magical... Maybe we can have that sorcery class together! I began to think of what would happen if we were in a bunch of classes together. We would become friends. Good friends. Best friends. Then Madame Morrible announced, "I will not take any other students!" No. This is not happening.

"What???" I turned around to see that all of my friends were gone. It was only Elphaba, Madame Morrible and I. Madame Morrible began to sing about the wizard and I continued to stare, but I tried to do so a bit less rudely. Elphaba looked at me, but it looked like more a glare. I do not have a chance with her do I. She looked back at Madame Morrible and I looked down.

"Madame Morrible..." I said softly, trying to sound disappointed. "Not now dear." She ran off and I just looked at Elphaba. "This will only make me a better person." I smiled at the thought of being close to Elphaba. I ran off to my room. After all, I had to get my rack of shoes up.
