Love to the Moon And Back

Chapter 7

*next day*

I woke up to the barking of Snowflake. Yet Sky was sleeping like a baby. I looked at my phone and it was 6:44 a.m . I thought maybe I should make breakfast for Sky and I. We normally sleep together so I had to get up slowly so I don't wake her up. I went to her kitchen and roamed through her fridge. I got some cheese , eggs , spinach and I ordered two iced hazelnut lattes with almond milk from Starbucks so I can get it Uber Eats. I made two spinach omlettes with cheese on top. It was 7:26 a.m when I got the drinks. I then woke up Sky at 7:30 a.m .

"Wake up sleepy head!" I said jumping on top of her.

"What time is it?" She said reaching for her phone.

"It's 7:30 and I already made breakfast and got Starbucks. So get up woman , before I drag you myself." I said getting off of her.

"Fineeeeee" she said hiding under the covers. I walked to the kitchen and placed the food on the table. I turned on the news and sat down.

"Why do you have to wake up so early?" Sky whined.

"Well , I also have to leave soon so might as well do everything early" I said stuffing omelettes in my mouth. We both started eating normally. I finished first so right after I went to go get some clothes and brush my hair. I put on a pastel pink shirt with an overall dress. I put my hair into French braids. I put on some Mascara, Concealer, Highlight, Bronzer, a little bit of foundation and some chap stick. When I was done , I see Sky still eating her food. I texted my mom.

"Hey , I'mma be there around 10:30 , I'll tell Sky to drop me off at the doctor's" I sent her.

"Ok , don't talk long." She replied back.

"Ok , bye bye" I said.
I look at the time and it was 9:21 a.m ,so I decided to watch a movie.

*1 hour later*

Sky and I left the house together. I started her car and she put on some music.

"Girlllll , this is my song!!!!" Sky shouted. We started dancing to "Bellyache" by Billie Eilish. When the song ended , Sky connected her phone to the car and we played more Billie Eilish songs. My personal favorite was "Lovely" or "you should see me in a crown".

"Is your hickey still there?" I asked.

"Yes sadly..." She said. I looked at her pale skin and still saw the red- purplish mark on her neck. She put on a chocker to see if she can hide it but it kept sliding down , so it didn't really work. When we got there, I parked the car in front of a school and I got off. Sky then switched to the driver seat. She gave me a hug before I ran off. It was 10:47 a.m when I arrived. My mom was in the waiting room.

"Hey honey, I just called your dad. He wants to talk to you." My mom said giving me her phone.

"Okay, but I'll call him through mine." I said giving my mom's phone back. I then dialed my dad's number and pressed green.

"Hello?" He said.

"Hey dad." I said walking out of the room.

"Hey munchkin , how are you feeling?" He asked.

"I'm pretty good , a little nervous but this isn't my first time so I'm kinda used to it." I said.

"Well the surgery isn't gonna take that long and you'll be perfectly fine by the time you come out." He said.

"Well let's hope that happens." I said changing my tone.

"Your gonna be fine and it's really gonna make your eyesight stay where it's at and it won't get any more worse. Then when that happens , you can get contacts and happily ever after , you'll be perfectly perfect." He said getting more cheerful with each word.

"Okay. Just wish me luck. Love you" I said ending the conversation.

"Love you munchkin , stay safe and good luck" he said. I then hung up putting my phone in my pocket. I entered the waiting room and sat down next to my mom. I just waited until I was called.
