Chapter 4: camp fall

The car ride was long and boring.. I was driving myself somewhere for 5 hours.. It was hell. Well instead of putting you through the hell of hearing the boring details about me distracting myself throughout the ride and blasting music while dancing and almost crashing my car.. I'll just move onto the story.

*5 hours later*

Yes. I'm here. Finally. Camp Aloha. I don't even get that name but who cares because this camp is amazing.

This is my 4th year coming here. It's really just a place where teens can get away and have no parents bossing them around.

Only 50 teens come a year because the limited space in the cabins. The cabins are beautiful. They were all made from deep brown colored logs and had awing stain glasses windows. I can't even explain how much it seemed like heaven.

In your weeks at camp, you either have a single cabin where your alone in your own room but are connected with 5 other cabins by just a door and have to go to the community dining hall and bathrooms or you get stuck with 5 roommates but the house is all to yourselves. That means your own kitchen, dining room, pool, bathroom, and anything you could even imagine. But then again, your all sharing one room the rest of the time.

"Alex Evans" I heard the lady at the camp check in desk scream out.

"That's me!" I jumped from where I was in the crowd and made my way to the front of the line pushing a little bit to get to where I needed to.

"Miss. Evans you will be in your own room this year considering it's your 4th year. We've changed the cabins a little bit so I hope you find it to your liking. You happen to be in the best cabin here."

"Oh um thanks.. Who are my attached campers?" I nervously asked biting my bottom lip.

"You'll see when you get there sweetheart."

"Oh, okay, thanks."

I took the shiny silver key she handed me and made my way to my cabin. On the way, I tripped up a little bit and needed some help carrying my many, many bags up the steep hill to get to my cabin. Being the stubborn... I mean strong person I am I decided not to ask and stumble upon it myself. Stupid me because I ended up falling and scraping both my knees up. Well that is where I met my first friend that year at camp.

"Omg! Are you okay!"

"Yeah I'm fine! Thanks!"

"Here let me help you!"

The next thing I know, this beautiful girl bends down to look at my knees. She then pulled out a first-aid kit and opened it.

"This might sting a little!"

"Ouch!" I squealed a little bit but kept the tears forming in my eyes from falling.

"Oh by the way my name is Jessica Brook. This is my first year coming here."

Jessica started to explain who she was and where she was from and all that good stuff but we all know you really don't care about that so I'll save you the agonizing pain of reading that.

"Hi I'm Alexis Danielle Evans. But most people call me Alex."

I looked at Jessica and saw that she had long perfectly curled strawberry-blonde hair and deep blue eyes like an ocean. She was tall and skinny, but in a healthy fit way that any girl would die to have.

"Alex? That's a nice name! What cabin are you in!?"

I realized I didn't even check my key yet to see the number on the back. I looked down and saw 222 and smiled, that's my dad's favorite number. Well actually 2 is but that's close enough, okay?

"222" I said motioning to the shiny key I was twirling around my fingers.

"Omg. No. Your kidding right?"

"Uhm no? Why is that bad?" I instantly went bug eyed as I heard her previous words.

"No. Uhm.. Yeah well did you find out whose In your cabin yet?"

"No?" I said almost shaking at the fear she made me feel.

"Well I'll help you to your cabin then I'll go and you'll find me later, right? Okay, well I'm cabin 218 so I'm not to far just come over when your ready."

"Oh.. Uhm okay sure!"

I smiled still a little skeptical but I grabbed the hand Jessica had put out for me to use to help stand up. I brushed myself off since I was just on the dirty ground and started towards my cabin with Jessica.

*At my cabin*

"Okay here you are! I'll put your bags right here and just come over when you can! Alright?"

"Yeah of course! Thanks again!" I smiled.

"No problem! Good luck!"

I walked in and guess what. Well your gonna have to wait. But my guess is you already have an idea of who I, Alexis Danielle Evans are sharing a cabin with. But I'll give you one hint, 5 boys. That's all I can say for now.
