We all have fears. Some more than others. The only problem about these fears... Well we can't all escape them.
Some people fear heights, tight spaces, sharks, or riding a train.
But then, there's those fears. The ones that take you and rake your brain and keep you up at night. I've got plenty of those.
Those fears, the awful ones. The fear of dying, losing a loved one, "oblivion" as said in the movie everybody loves, 'the fault in our stars', and of course being a nothing. Worst of all, the constant fear of never being good enough.
I understand that's cliché and all but it's true. Living your life as someone driving to be perfect. You have the parents that drill you until your sick, the stereotypical sister that always seems to do better than you in so many ways.
Those are just fears... Fears that keep me up at night. But you don't want to hear about that. Let me start from the beginning... I'm 18, I go to an average school, with average kids, in an average neighborhood. The key word there is average.
I'm not a sob story type of person but for one, I have not had any type of easy life. I'm an average teen who went through the easy troubles of any other teen. But then, there was those troubles, troubles more intense... Troubles no one should have to deal with.
