Everything was fine at first. We were having a routine lockdown for repairs while Coran was out to the Altean colony to kickstart an alliance, so I decided we should relax for a bit while it was happening. We were eating, and I went to get more snacks from the kitchen but I didn't even get more than halfway back when I heard a blood chilling scream coming from the common room. I dropped what bags of chips I had in my arms and I ran down to see what was the commotion. I barely stepped foot into the common room when I saw who the scream came from and what she was screaming at. My stomach dropped.
Pidge was standing in front of Keith... Keith's dying body. There was so much blood, and more blood was seeping out of him. He had two wounds on him. One on his abdomen, and another on his neck, with a kitchen knife still in him, sticking out of his neck. Eyes still moving, blinking slightly.
The sight made me loose balance, but Pidge sprang right into action as more of the team got to the scene, she ordered Allura to set up a healing pod, and she barked some other orders but I couldn't hear anything else but the blood pounding in my head. I slowly walk over to Keith. My brother. He's barely moving.
"Keith?" I say quietly, words choking up in my throat, "Keith you're gonna be okay.."
His mouth opens and closes slightly. No sound comes out. I want to see him okay again. This isn't real. Nightmares like these ones are common for me, but never have I been aware of them like I am now. I want to wake up.
"Shiro...." he whispers, his voice croaking faintly
His face looks pale, his eyelids closing and opening as they strain for consciousness.
"What happened?" I beg him
"I...." he starts, but as I wait for an answer, one never comes. He's gone.
