Jade could feel the tension and fear that struck the room. Tarasov had sat back down in his office chair, and the men had said nothing around. Jade closed her eyes, taking some breaths to calm her raging heartbeat down. Her head hung low, wanting to find some solace and peace, even for a few seconds. She looked back up at Tarasov, who seemed lost in thought and the few men that had were in the office was called outside. She couldn't wait to hear the crashes and gun shots, because she knew, it was her father, John Wick. She smiles.

A/N: thank you all for the kind comments and reads to this story! I recently re-watched the john wick series and it made me want to give my first book a facelift haha. She matches one of my recent stories (somebody to love - my cobra kai one) with the gifts and format.
