Chapter 4 : Get out of it

Just sleep on it. Things will figure itself out. So i went to sleep, and woke up the next morning with 2 text messages. One from Liam, and one from Hunter. I read the one from Liam first. It read "Good morning, sweetie! How did you sleep? I'm excited for our date tonight! xx" Oh my gosh. I completely forgot. I planned two dates on the same night. But putting it that way makes me sound like a skank. I decided I needed to call my best girl friend. & Right away. So, I dialed her number and heard her sweet voice pick up the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey Chanelle. Look, I'm stuck in a situation and I don't know what to do. I need your help."

'Sure girl, what's up?'

"Okay, well I told Liam I'd go to dinner with him, cause I felt bad about the whole yelling at him thing, but then I was so stuck in the moment with Hunter, I told him I could go to dinner with him too.."

"Bailey! I know I've gotten you out of alot of things, but this one.. I'm not so sure I can. Maybe you should jut tell Liam. He'll understand, I mean c'mon, y'all are bestfriends."

"Okay. Thanks for the help girl. Love you!"

"Love you too! & good luck!" She said, then hung up.

Maybe she was right. Liam would understand. Suddenly I heard a knock at the door. I opened it to see Liam standing there, smiling cheek to cheek. He was holding a mcDonalds bag with pancakes for both of us. 

"Hey! I brought you breakfast!"

"Awh, Liam! Come in!" I said. 

I have no clue why.. but I actually started to blush. Why was I blushing?! It was only Liam. My best friend. Who I have no feelings for.. I think.

We ate breakfast, and then thats when I decided to tell him.

"Hey Liam.. I need to tell you something."

"Sure, what is it babe?"

"Well.. I was thinking we could go to dinner tomorrow, instead of tonight."

"Uhh.. sure. I guess we could do that. Why're you changing the date?"

"Well.. Hunter asked-"

He cut me off. 

"Oh. Hunter? You're blowing me off, for someone you barely know? For someone who asked you AFTER I asked you? You're seriously doing this to me?"

"Liam. It's not that bad. Why does it matter? I like Hunter! ALOT. So can you just please understand why i'm doing this?"

"Oh. I understand. What's it gonna be next? Seeing him everyday, instead of me? Then you're gonna go do stuff together that me and you usually do."

"Liam, I really don't understand why you're being like this! You're acting jealous!"

"Well have you ever thought for one minute, that maybe I am jealous? Maybe I'm really jealous that you're starting to have another guy in your life and I'm going to have to share you?"

"Liam.. I didn't-"

"Just. Just stop. I'm gonna go." He said, as tears started falling down his soft eyes.

"Liam wait. Please don't go."

"Why? So you can tell me more about how you and Hunters date went? No thanks."
