Chapter 5 : Stay

"You're such a jerk, Liam! You don't own me, okay? You never will!"

"I'M the jerk? Last time I checked, I never blew you off for a girl I barely know!"

"Liam, why are you saying I'm 'blowing' you off? I'm not. We're having the date tomorrow.."

"Yeah? Well I planned for the date today. Why do you think I brought you breakfast? The whole day was going to be about you. We were gonna do what you wan't. I just wanted to spend today with you. Is that to much to ask?"

I took out my phone and dialed Hunters phone number.

"What are you doing? You're seriously calling someone right now?"

I ignored him.

"Hey Hunter! Sorry, but I can't make the date tonight. I hope that's okay with you. Maybe another time?" I asked, hopeful. 

"Oh, It's fine! I understand. See you soon." 

"Okay! Thanks! Bye." Then I hung up.

Liam was speechless. He stood there with his eyes lit up. Almost like he was shocked I did that. 

"Why? Why're you not going on a date with Hunter?"

"Because.. I want to spend today with the best, best friend in the world." 

I walked closer to him, as you pulled my hair behind my ears. He put his hands around my waste, and gave me a kiss on the forehead.

"You didn't have to do that. I would have gotten over it eventually, love."

"No. Todays all about me and you. Okay?"

"Thank you Bailey. I love you."

"I love you too, best friend! But I'm gonna start getting ready for the day. You showering here, Liam?"

"If that's okay with you?" 

"Of course it is! But I'm showering first." I said laughing.

I ran in the bathroom, locked the door then took a shower. After, Liam went in the bathroom and took a shower aswell. I blew dry my hair, and curled it. I never curl my hair. & If i have, Liam's never seen me with my hair curled. It's always straight, or in a bun, or braid or something. My hairs so long, it takes forever. But todays a special day, so I decided I'd curl it. I put a new type of look on my face. Instead of a lot of makeup, I wanted to go natural. I put on a little bit of eyeliner, and mascara. I put foundation on my face, cause I have some blemishes. & That was that.

I didn't realize, but Liam went home after his shower. I'm guessing he has a surprise or something planned, cause he got out of my apartment quick! 

My phone went off, and I checked to see a text from Liam. 

"I'll pick you up around 6:30? & sorry I ran out so quick. I got to look good for my lady. xx"

My lady? If anything, I wasn't his lady. Maybe he just said that to be funny. Who knows.

"Okay. See you tonight. xx" 

I put on my favorite dress. It was white, and the back was black lace. I put on a tan belt, and some white sandals. I felt really pretty today, and I'm not sure why. Eventually, 6:30 rolled around, and I heard a knock at the door. I opened the door to see Liam, looking really handsome. I've never seen someone look so flawless. He looked amazing. I saw Liams jaw drop, as he looked up and down my body. 

"Bailey.. Yo-Yo-You looks stunning." He stuttered.  

"Hey, you don't look too bad yourself!" I said, kissing his cheek.

"So should we get going?" 

"Sure."

I had no idea where he was taking me. Finally we pulled up to a place I've never heard of. It looked so expensive. He was acting like a gentleman. He came to my door, and opened it. 

"Thank you, Mister!"

"Welcome, beautiful."

We ordered our food, then ate. We got back in his car, and then we drove to an open field. There was a blanket and a basket sitting there, waiting on us.

"I got you your favorite. Chocolate dipped strawberries"

"Awh! Yes. I've been craving these! Thanks Liam!" I said, jumping on him. I wrapped my legs around him, and he wrapped his arms around my waste. I jumped off then layed down on the blanket. We stared at the stars for a few minutes, until he turned and looked at me.

"I've never see someone so beautiful."

"I don't think I've ever seen someone as handsome." I replied.

We sat up and stared into eachothers eyes. I started to blush. Here we go with this blushing again! Why am I blushing?! I was hoping he couldn't tell, but I knew he could by the way he was smiling at me.

He laced his fingers into mine, then started to lean in, closer, and closer to my lips.
