The room was dark, as you hide yourself in the closet, away from the voices, both your hands over your ears, tears streaming down your face.
You wonder if you sacrificed yourself, would all of these stop? Will they care? Will they stop fighting?
Another day, another fight. And it was all about money.
You've seen your dad abusing your mother, you didn't see it literally but the scars on her arms and face were the absolute evidence. You hated my dad.
Whatever the reason, however much one is angry, one is never given the right to hit anyone.
You were given the knowledge of the real world at a very young age. And however harsh it may be, You wanted to help people lift off their burden, at least just a bit, You wanted to help.
Since your dad lost a business deal, they'd been fighting more than often. And you didn't know if they were fighting or just talking. Because none of the days were peaceful.
Shut up shut up shut up!!! You chanted in your mind. Pressing your hands over your ears tighter. Like your life depended upon it.
If only the people weren't greedy and selfish and had the right mentality, the world would be a better place. You thought inwardly and more tears stream down.
You saw scenarios and images of those You've met and seen on the streets, those homeless, those rich, those orphans and those happy families.
I can never help. Can I?
Observing your parents, You'd always want to study psychiatry. You'd always been scared of people and was always curious about the human mind. How do i change their dirty mindsets.?
