When Luke closed the book, he had happy tears rolling down his cheeks and an idiotic grin on his face. He pressed the book against his chest and chuckled softly. Luke looked at Petunia, she was on the sofa, eyeing Luke with all the love in the world.
The blonde smiled and he grabbed his phone. He hesitated for a second because maybe all of this was a prank? No, it wasn't. So he called Ashton.
"Luke." Ashton's soft voice said.
"Are you already gone?" Luke asked hopefully.
"No, no I'm in my car."
"Can you-" He stopped talking when he heard two knocks on his door.
He walked to the door and opened it. Ashton was here, he was smiling and maybe Luke fell in love once again.
"Did you run in here?" Luke cracked a smile.
"Maybe." Ashton shrugged.
Luke threw his phone away on the sofa and he rushed into Ashton's open arms. They were in the doorway but Luke didn't care. Luke's phone probably ended on the floor, but he didn't care. He was in Ashton's arms, and that's everything he needed to care about.
Ashton wrapped his arms around Luke's waist, bringing the guy closer as if it was possible. Luke had his nose into Ashton's neck while Ashton was gently kissing his hair.
"Thank you." Luke whispered in Ashton's neck. "It was so beautiful and I love this book so much, how did you bought it? Miss Robinson refuse to sell her books." Luke asked pressing a kiss on Ashton's skin.
"Well, I told her it was for someone I loved very much, and she refused." He giggled. "So I explained to her it was for you and then she just gave it to me."
Luke giggled, tugging Ashton inside and closed the door behind them.
They ended up on the sofa, wrapped around each other, nobody was talking they were just lost in each other's eyes. Luke loved that, he wanted Ashton and him to stay like this forever because that's all he ever wanted. Love and being loved in return.
"I love you." Ashton said nuzzling his nose against Luke's one. "I love you so much Luke."
"I love you, Ashton." Luke answered rubbing his thumb on Ashton's cheek.
And then they kissed, it was a nice kiss, not a heated one, no tongues involved it was a gentle one. It was the kind of kiss who make you feel like you're flying, the kind of kiss who make your heart fail a beat and your hands shake. Luke was so happy so he pressed Ashton closer bumping their noses but none of them cared.
"Can we just stay like this..." Luke huffed when he pulled away, resting his head on Ashton's chest. "Until we fall asleep."
"Yes, yes sure we can." Ashton said and he kissed Luke's forehead.
Luke hummed in pleasure and he closed his eyes, burying his face into Ashton's shirt. The older boy giggled and he closed his arms around Luke.
"You'll be here when I woke up right?" Luke asked worried with a frown.
"Of course." Ashton smiled. "I'm done leaving you baby."
