I wiped my face off carelessly and rolled my eyes. I guess its for the best. I sauntered for a minute until I heard Blake clear his throat. I looked over my shoulder and he winked at me, I took that as a sign we needed to walk home now.
The walk home was quiet and peaceful to say the least. I was still shocked that I ended up killing a living creature but it was only self defense.
We got home and I went instantly to sleep. While I was asleep I kept hearing things. I wasn't sure what was going on. I played it off as Blake sleep walking. But I was wrong. I was so, so wrong.
-Time skip to morning-
I opened my eyes and stretched out on my bed. I couldnt hear anything out of the ordinary so that confirmed Blake was sleepwalking. I went downstairs and cooked some breakfast for myself and Blake. I finished making breakfast and slowly walked up the stairs to check on Blake. When I was outside his door it was quiet. Too quiet.
I slowly opened the door and instantly clenched my fist, breaking the door knob. Blake, Mallory and Ayden. One bed. Naked. I couldnt believe my eyes. Ayden was sitting there with a camera while Mallory was shoving her tounge down Blakes throat. I let out the breath that I had been holding in and thats when my world came tumbling down. Blake stared at me and mouthed the words "I'm sorry" before he continued doing what he was doing.
I ran to my room and packed my bags. I threw all of my clothes in my suitcases and slung a blanket across my shoulders. I grabbed my bags, put my headphones in and blasted my music to cancel out the sounds from Blakes bedroom. I ran. I ran outside snd farther than I ever have. I reached a different side of town. I stopped at a breach in the forest. I pushed through a bundle of bushes and there before me, a lonely pond, surrounded by red mushrooms and flowers. I sat down on a rock and stacked my bags nicely. I checked my phone and it was 9:22pm. I sighed and put my hesd in my hands.
Thats when I heard it. A twig snapping behind me in the forest.
