chapter 8

Emma POV: I was awoken to someone playing with my hair and rubbing my shoulder. Daniel was nudging joey and I. "Emma, Joeyyyyy we landed!" Joey opened his eyes and said "Carry me" Daniel chuckled and picked joey up and held him until we exited the plane. we were given Lei's as we entered the airport. we got a rental car and drove to a hotel. we got to the hotel. I was putting my cosmetics and shampoo in the bathroom and I came out to see my dads sitting on one of the beds making out or eating each others faces. I smiled as I walked over. they still didn't see me. I said "having fun sucking each others faces off?" I don't think they heard me because they kept going, tongue and all. then suddenly I see Joey slowly unbutton Daniels shirt. "uhhhh Dads?" I say a little louder. they see me and pull back from the kiss turning red in the face. "S-sorry Emm. we got carried away and a little kiss turned into me deepening it, into us making out" I chuckle "I know"

we decided to go to the beach and have a family beach day. I put on a bathing suit but felt conscious of my body in front of Daniel and Joey so I put a t-shirt on over it. I put my hair into a bun and put my sunglasses on my head looking fabulous as ever. I still have the ring Daniel and Joey gave me when I became their official daughter at their wedding. I smile. I go and sit down on the bed in between them and give them both a hug. their hugs are everything. "You ready for the beach?" Daniel said rubbing my back. "yes but I don't know what its like. Ive never been to a beach" they both gasped and said 'Sweetie we will do our best to give you the best child hood we can" I smile and kiss their cheeks.

we drive to the beach and Daniel carries me on his shoulders as if im weightless. I play with his soft hair twisting it into tiny braids. I notice Joey takes a picture and smiles. we get to our spot in the sand and Daniel goes to set me down but I only cling on tighter. "Ive never felt sand" "Its okay. sand is really soft. you can make things out of it, Joey why don't we build a family sand castle?" Joey nods and I slowly dig my feet into the sand. its warm and soft. I see little things in the sand and pick on up. it was a sea shell. I show Daniel and Joey and they take pictures. I also take a picture of them kissing in the sand with the ocean behind them.

we spend the day in the ocean splashing each other and we even made a sandcastle. we went to the boardwalk and got lunch and even played a few games too. I was really happy I had such amazing dads.

the sun starting setting but we stayed to watch it. I snapped a few beautiful pictures. we go out for dinner and I noticed Daniels hair had a slight curl.

as I was looking at the menu I felt someone grab my hand under the table. I look down to see Joey holding my hand and smiling. I intertwine my hand with Joeys and grip tightly. I ordered a vegan veggie burger and a salad.

out of the blue Daniel says "Can you tell us about your past?" I swallow and feel a little nervous. "Everyday my parents abused me and they would call me names and beat me. that's why I have so many scars. I thought I would never be adopted but I was wrong. I was adopted by the best parents ive ever had and now I have the bet life ever. im not afraid to be around either of you, im not afraid to be out in public as long as I have you both protecting me"

I finish looking down at the floor. I felt Daniel tip my chin up. "Sweetie, we absolutely love you. your our beautiful princess, we will protect you forever and always" I smile slightly. "thank you daddies. I love you" joey gave me a side hug and kissed my head. I ran my hand through his soft hair. something I love doing.

we pay for dinner and joey says in a little kid voice, "Daddy can we go get ice cream?" I laugh at his little voice that he uses in a lot of his videos on YouTube. Daniel looks into joeys eyes. "Your absolutely adorable, I love you. you know that right?" joey blushes and says "Yes, Daniel I know you love me and I love you too"

we go for ice cream and I get a fudge brownie sundae and Daniel gets strawberry and joey gets cookie dough.

we snap a picture of our ice cream cones and enjoy the warm air and just being together as a family.

after sitting for a while Daniel says "Whos ready to go back to the hotel and relax?" I yawn and so does joey.

we hop into our rental car and drive the couple minutes to the hotel and take the elevator to our room.

I take a shower to rinse the salt out of my hair and then crawl into bed almost falling asleep right there. Daniel and Joey pull the covers up over me and they both kiss my head "Goodnight princess, sweet dreams" I smile lightly "Good night Daddies, I love you"

I had an amazing day experiencing the beach. :)
