Jungkook throws his phone on his bed and heads towards the door upon hearing soft thudding on the door.
Leaving the chain on, he opens the door so it's slightly ajar and sees a tall slender male with pretty silver hair. He's face to face with the soft eyes and strong eyebrows of Kim Taehyung.
As he reaches for the chain, he feels a flurry of fluff and something scrambling in through the doors.
A rat?
He looks down and finds himself staring into the eyes of a tiny brown and black dog.
"Hey Tae, come on in. Is the dog yours?"
"Yeah. He's called Yeontan."
'Cute name' Jungkook thought to himself. He bends down to eye level with the pup. "Strong eyebrows must run in the family huh?" Jungkook felt a smile tug at the corners of his lips seeing Yeontan tilt his head slightly with curiosity.
Yeontan on the other hand fell in love instantaneously with the raven haired man, and bounded into his arms.
A deep chuckle erupted from Taehyung's mouth as he eyed the interaction between the two.
Jungkook held a squirming Yeontan in his hands as the dog licked all over his face and decided to chomp down on the poor boys head.
Normally you'd panic if an oversized rat bit your head but Jungkook merely cooed and squealed, unfazed by the dogs actions.
"He really likes you. It took quite a while for him to warm up to me but he practically leaped into your arms." Said Taehyung, slightly jealous by the fact his own precious dog likes Jungkook more than himself.
A boyish, refreshing laugh escaped Jungkook's lips at the sight of Yeontan. He loved dogs wholeheartedly but was in no position to commit to looking after one at the moment.
"I'm glad he likes me but I haven't had dinner and I'd like that banana milk about now."
Jungkook averts his gaze from the wriggling dog to look at Taehyung. More specifically, to look for the banana milk in Taehyung's hands.
