First Sight - A Violentine story

Clem's POV

I wake up in Violet's arms, remembering the kiss we shared yesterday, I carefully move away from Violet's grip, without waking her, I leave the room and head over to my lookout post,. I pull out my binoculars and take a look around the forest, a few hours pass nothing, especially from the raiders, there probably gathering an army to attack us, knowing our luck, I put the away by the post and look around for Violet, she nowhere to be seen, so I head over to Louis

"Have you seen, Violet?, I need to talk to her" I ask

"Talk?, You mean get in bed with her?" He says bursting out into laughter

"Shut up!" I say, punching him lightly on the arm

"Ok,ok,. Think I saw her in your room looking through your stuff, I don't know why"

"Ok, thanks" I say waving him goodbye heading into the school to my room

I make my way to my door grabbing the door handle, only to hear groaning an heavy breathing....

I open the door to see Violet sitting on my bed cutting herself with my knife, bleeding on the floor with some sort of letter next to her

"Violet?!?!" I say

"Oh, shit, Clem, I can explain" she says groaning through every word

I sit down next to her and gently grab her arm, she cut with my knife

"What made you do this?" I ask trying not to upset her

"I found this letter, that my parents gave to the headmaster of the boarding school to try and get me in" she says looking at me with her beautiful green eyes

She hands me the note, I read it carefully

Dear Headmaster

Our daughter, Violet has told us something that really frightens us, she told us that she is lesbian, she only loves girls, which we think is extremely disgusting, we hope that you will consider this and get our troubled daughter a place in this wonderful school of yours.

"Oh, Violet..?" I say pulling her into a deep hug

"I just didn't want you to see me like this" she says burying her head in my shoulder

"It's, okay, it's okay" I say rubbing my hand in circles on her back

I pull back and get up and walk over to the cupboard and  take out the first aid kit and pull out the bandage, and take it over to Violet

"I'm just going to put this over your cuts to help them heal" I say

"O-okay" Violet responds

I gently wrap the bandage around her scarred arm and secure it with medical tape

"You should be okay now" I say

"Thank you, Clem" she says giving me a fake smile

"No problem" I say pulling her into a deep kiss

"I love you, Clem" she says

"I love you back" I say fealing her warm breath on my neck
