"Jimin, you freaking crusty piece of doodoo-"
"I'M sOrRy-"
He was only mildly sorry.
That's the first thing you realized as you watched his rare yet endearing full body laughter as he nearly fell to the floor, his eyes shaped into crescent moons from just how much he was smiling, cheeks strikingly similar to two little plums on his face, and your heart nearly melted at the sight. He's just too cute, even while he's laughing at your suffering.
Wait.
"Stop laughing, dammit! Do you not feel any shame?!"
You make a strangling motion with your hands as you watch him wipe away a tear threatening to run down his flushed cheek, watching the male ruffle his hair as he adjusts his position on the chair of his living room. He swats your (not at all) exaggerated gesture with a flick of his wrist and you're almost appalled at the sheer audacity of this boy.
Jimin props his elbow on the table, resting his cutely chubby cheek on his palm as he stares at your form sitting opposite him, a sly grin permanently etched onto his features, "All I did was accidentally spill some water on your homework. Which, by the way, first of all; you answered like two questions and they were both incorrect, second of all that's not even the correct assignment, who are you trying to fool?"
You only groan, burying your face in your hands, "High school is cancelled."
The male snorts, "Lost too many brain cells for today?"
"They've given up on me long ago." Jimin softly chuckles in response, getting up from his seat as he accompanies you to the exit of his apartment. You'd been visiting him more often lately, using the group project as an excuse more times than you'd like to admit, but you're glad he didn't seem to be catching on. So oblivious.
"Thanks for today, Jimin." You teasingly pinch his cheeks as you walk past, the male rolling his eyes with a smile as he lightly punches your shoulder in response. The interaction is over before you know it and soon you're waving as you walk away, looking back just before you turn the corner only to see Jimin still waving at you. You raise your hand with a laugh to wave back a second time, and his cheeks are lightly tinted pink as he hides his smile in his endearingly small hands.
You'd grown so used to the lively chatter with Jimin that your home's stillness pales in comparison to how it felt to be in his. Closing the door behind you with your foot, you drag your aching feet to your room, throwing yourself onto the comfort of your bed as you kick your shoes off. You allow yourself to sink into the soft pillows before pulling out your phone, smiling softly as you open up the messages that had been continuously making your phone ring.
It's been a few days since your day out with Jimin and the boys have been attempting to get closer to you, even adding you to a group chat with them. You'd even exchanged a few words with Yoongi, but never anything beyond a friendly greeting and goodbye. It was quite disappointing, but seeing him up close was good enough as it is.
The name of the group "monogamous thots" appears on the top of your screen, never failing to make you chuckle to yourself at the ridiculousness of it all. And to think these are the supposed bad boys of your school.
