Your POV
After a full day of non stop editing you're finally able to sit back and let out a deep sigh. You run your hands over your face and sit still for a moment, enjoying the peace.
You grab your mug and stand up, as you turn to leave you notice a piece of paper on the floor that looks as though it's been slid under the door.

There's a handwritten note on it that reads come to the kitchen downstairs, E x

With a curious smirk on your face you do as the note tells you. The lights are dimmed, the table in the centre of the room is set with two places and lit by the warm glow of a candle. You take a few steps in before Elliott appears out of nowhere and startles you.

"Oh!" you yelp, "I didn't see you."
"Sorry," he chuckles, "Maybe this will make up for it," he says offering a red rose to you.

"Yeah, it'll do," you joke and kiss his cheek as you take the flower.

He takes your hand and walks you over to the table, pulling out a chair and seating you.

"You're such a charmer," you giggle.
"I'm only just getting started," he says, throwing a wink at you as he walks back to the small kitchen area.

A few moments later he returns with two plates.

"Oooh, what are we having?" you ask.
"Chicken, stuffed with mozzarella, wrapped in parma ham with a side of homemade mash," he explains as he sets them down.
"Wait you made this?" you ask in shock.
"Yeah," he chuckles.
"All of it!?"
"Yeah!"
"Wow. I don't think I've ever seen you cook before."
"Well you haven't tasted it yet."
"I'm sure it's great," you say sincerely.

Elliott disappears one last time and returns with a bottle of wine; he pours two glasses and you both settle down to eat.

You chat about anything and everything, completely losing track of time. Eventually the food and wine is finished so you start clearing up but not before Elliott cracks open another bottle of wine.

"Are you trying to get me drunk?" you giggle.
"No I'm trying to get me drunk," he jokes.
You laugh genuinely and bury your face into his shoulder.
"I love you," he blurts out.

Your heart skips a beat but your body freezes; you think you feel the same but you also think it's too soon, you're too scared to be in a position where you can be hurt again. You just can't bring yourself to say it, but there's one thing you know for sure.

You take his face in your hands and with a smile say, "I know you do."

You kiss him gently and when you pull away he has the sweetest smile on his face. That is until he bites down on his lip seductively and you're putty in his hands. You jump up to wrap your legs around his waist, reconnecting your lips in a passionate kiss.

His hands find your butt to help hold you up but the pinch you feel tells you that's not all they're doing there. It causes you to moan against his lips which only encourages him more.

He spins you around and slides you onto the kitchen counter, you leave your legs wrapped around his waist and use them to pull him in closer.

Your heart races as Elliott's lips dance with yours and desire burns deep inside you. His fingers work their way under your top and up your sides until you can't take it anymore.

"Let's take this to the bedroom, yeah?" you say in the most sultry voice you can manage.

He immediately lifts you back off the counter, lips not leaving yours for more than a second, and walks you over to the elevator. You practically fall through the doors as they open. His whole body is pressed firmly against you, lips working roughly against yours, dripping with a desperate desire, until the doors ping open. You roll your hips against his, making him shiver, before he pulls you out and through the door to his bedroom.
The cleaning up can wait until tomorrow.
