Mila's POV~
When I returned to my room I sat on my bed feeling confused. So very confused. I didn't understand why everyone seemed to shocked about virgins. I mean what's the big deal? it only means that I haven't had sex. My parents always told me that being a virgin was a good thing and I always took pride in that but now I wasn't so sure. After sulking in a warm bath I changed into a pair of fluffy pajamas that were in my closet. I decided that I should just sleep this whole day off. And that is what I did. I dreamt about my tenth birthday when my sister and I both ate the entire cake and then played a four hour game if hide and go seek. It made me smile. But then it started to change. I could see the look on my parents face the day Anna never came home. I hated that day with my entire soul. Here comes the nightmare.
Kellins POV~
I can't believe Mila was a virgin. She's the first one in over a thousand years and she's mine. All mine. I wasn't sure if I was ready for that responsibility. I didn't know what to do and if I told the wrong person about it and Nathan would find out. Once he knew he'd want her. I couldn't let that happen. He does horrible things to his females. I brush off the thought and then continue my journey to my room. As I pass the second floor I hear a faint scream. I turn my head listening carefully and there it comes again. The only two rooms that are stationed here were Jennifer's and Mila's but I knew Jennifer didn't sleep until about one or two and it was barely nine thirty. I made my way to Mila's room and then stopped in front of her big pink door. I placed my ear against the thick wood and then the scream came once more. I slowly opened the door and closed it behind me softly. When I got closer to her bed I realized that she was having a night terror. She was thrashing around and screaming the words 'no' and 'comeback' at the top of her lungs. I did what I thought would be right and wrapped my arms around her small fragile body. "shhh it'll be ok,"I whispered in her ear attempting to soothe her,i just really didn't want her to make a ruckus. "daddy?...,"she called out softly. "No Mila's its Kellin,you were having a night terror, are you ok?" I said feeling a pang of guilt inside. I felt her body stiffen from underneath my arms,"yes I'm fine,sorry for the inconvenience,"she responded distancing herself from me. "wait,wait come here,I can still feel you shaking,"I said pulling her back. She just stood still. Then there was a long awkward silence. "do you Uhm maybe wanna talk about your dream?"I asked nervously. I've never comforted a girl before so I wasn't really sure how. She let out a deep breath and then shook her head signaling that she didn't want to talk about it. I sighed but stood where I was with my arms wrapped around her. "Sir..can I ask you a question?" I hear her little voice call out. "Sure you can,"I said getting curious about what she was going to ask. "why do people hate virgins around here?" said asked slowly. I laughed and shook my head. She turned around to face me and looked a bit hurt at my laughing. "Mila..we don't hate them..we don't hate them whatsoever,but its too much to explain now you need sleep. I'll talk to you over breakfast,"I said coolly. "ok,"she responded while turning back around. I wondered how she was going to take this news but no matter what she had to know.
