Soft laughing echoed through the corridor, footsteps stopping in front of the spacious bedroom on the second floor. Jean pinned Emma on the wall next the the doorway, leaning in her ear and whispering in a hasty voice.

"I want you so bad."

Emma felt her face heat up. Before she could answer Jean pulled her inside the room with a frenzy of kisses, leaving a hasty trail of discarded clothes behind them. She pushed her back and followed her on the bed, leaving a wet trail of kisses and bite marks up her thighs when she settled between her legs. Emma shuddered when Jean pulled back and licked her lips, giving a hungry smile as she crawled on top of her. Excitement rippled through her body when Jean reached for her neck and gained a gasp. She dragged her fingers on Emma's cheek, staring down at her with red eyes while straddling her hips.

"I can never get enough of you."

Emma smiled at her words and reached out, pulling her back in for a kiss. She dragged her nails on Jean's back and drew thin lines of blood, her moan reverberating between their lips as their bodies melted together. She gasped when Jean broke the kiss.

"I wish we could stay like this forever."

Jean smiled at her words, dragging her hands down on her chest. She leaned in and pressed her lips down on Emma's neck, her cold breath and sharp teeth sending a shivering feeling up her legs.

"Who said I'll let you go?"

Emma snapped out of her daydream when someone hit her shoulder and the glass in her hands broke in her grasp, shattering into a million pieces on the table. She looked at it with startled eyes before exhaling and let go of the breath that had been stuck in her lungs for hours. A lounge waitress came over to clean the mess from the ground and she stood up, taking off a sharp piece of glass from her palm as she walked to the restroom with an excuse.

Once she got past the doors Emma leaned on the marble counter and stared at herself through the mirror. Her eyes were dark and tired, her short hair a mess around her shoulders. She tucked a few strands back and splashed some water onto her face, fixing the falling strap of her tank top and pulling at her jeans. The door creaked open as another person walked into the bathroom and Emma gave them a glance through the mirror. The woman seemed to grimace at her bloody appearance and hesitated before walking into one of the stalls. Emma exhaled, then ripped a part of her clothing to create a makeshift bandage for her hand. Everything had been making her paranoiac lately. She took her time in the bathroom to clear her head, walking out once she made sure to fix her attire.

The inside of the bar wasn't too spacious. Red and blue lights created a dark and misty aesthetic, creating colorful shadows of the figures dancing. Emma blended in with the people until she found the backdoor and slipped out into the dark night outside. She checked around before walking forward, but didn't expect the blow to the back of her head that would send her toppling on the ground, or the small group of people that walked out of hiding and circled her.

"Look what we have here."

She blocked the next hit with her hand but still took a painful blow to her face, hitting her back on the brick wall. She hissed, turning her expression into a hostile one. Surprisingly not everyone in the group had an inconsistent heartbeat, meaning they consisted of vampires along with a few humans.

"The likes of you have no business here, it was a mistake to come."

Kill them all.

"No!"
