Stefan's POV
She was rushing me, hurrying to leave town as fast as we could. So we did.
I glance over to her every now and then, as we take the long trip away from Mystic Falls. Mystic Falls was sunny, windy, and the day could've been actually enjoyable as we left the small town. Although the weather around or destination didn't match as we arrived at her lake house house again. The rain was pouring, probably cold if we could feel it. Not an inch of the sky wasn't covered with musky grey clouds. The lake outside was higher than usual, well higher since last time. A smile crept on my face remembering the words I said to Elena, on the deck leading into the lake, like it was echoing around me.
Elena said Jeremy and Bonnie were coming by, since the lake house was a stop on the way to where they were travelling to. I bring in the baggage, and cheekily smirk at Elena as she stands outside the door. Her fingers tread along the wooden door frame her forehead rest against. She sighs and pouts waiting for Jeremy and Bonnie to arrive, they had to take a detour considering Elena is no longer the human owner of this lake house.
Although I was invited in, I stand outside with her watching the rain fall onto the rocky ground. Pit pat sounds are heard from the gutter on the roof, and drips cover us every now and then. Shes faced her back to me as she leans against me, leaning against the wall. My arms hug her from behind as I wrap them tightly around her, and snuggle my head into her neck to distract her from having to stay out in this weather.
Moments later, which probably felt like an hour, Jeremy and Bonnie pull up. He rushed out of the car and into the house.
Elena's eye lit up as she noticed him.
"Sorry, the detour was longer than we thought" he mumbles, shaking off rain. He glares at Elena for a moment before speaking. He looks unsure, worried almost.
"Uh..would you.. Would you like to come in?" He hesitates to mumbles and Elena smiles and nods before entering her...his lake house.
Jeremy half smiles a weak smile and then we turn back to the cars. Bonnies sit waving at us through the foggy windshield from the drivers seat and Jeremy waves goodbye dismissing himself and runs off.
The grey car pulls out of the rock and stone driveway and back onto the what feels like, never ending road surrounded by tall trees.
I turn to see Elena, standing behind me. Our bags are pushed into the closet room, the one we stayed in the last time we visited.
I smile at her, before shutting the door behind us. I lift her up, and her legs wraps around my waist as she giggle from the unexpected move. She kisses me softly, before pecking at my lips with her soft ones. The kisses become longer and rougher as we tumble into the kitchen. I place her onto the bench, as I stand between her legs. She smiles at me, just my height enough to kiss her smile.
The rain was heard from inside, the weather is getting worst by the minute.
A day spent with just Elena and no distractions, is a day spent great. And that's what's our day was. Elena and I relaxed, we laughed, we actually manage to get cable for the tv. We watched re-runs of I Love Lucy, which was surprising since it barely plays now. I cooked food, she watched me the whole time. She sat on the couch next to the kitchen counter and smiled up at me, whilst I cut and cooked food. We pulled out wine, and two bottles were empty before the night arrived.
Then we ate, laughed again, she kissed me a million times, probably more. And then we stood outside. The sun was setting, the rain was faint, and rain or no rain, the sunset was still an amazing view.
We stood in the back porch, until she ran out onto the deck leading into the water. She smirks at me, her hair beginning to drip from standing in the rain. Her clothes became tight and dark.
"What are you doing?" I shout out, laughing, my hand next to my mouth to increase the sound.
"Come on Stefan. We're chilling" she smile, trying to hide a giggle and the word I used yesterday.
"Coke back inside Elena" I motioned to the lake house. She furrows her eyebrows and pouts her lips. Her arms crossed against her chest. And she remains soaking wet in rain.
"No" she states. Her lips pale a little as she declines me. I take a sharp breath before looking up into the now dark sky. I hurry towards Elena who starts to run towards the lake. Christ, I chase after her in a human way, and finally catch up to her.
"Isn't this fun" she mocks, a smirk plastered onto her face.
"No" I shake my head, and try hide my smile and succeed. Water drips form Gm nose and the rain picks up.
"We're in the rain" i state the obvious.
"I know that" she says, I stand so close that I can feel her warm breath in the cold night. Her breath becomes visible as she talks.
It's hard to see her brown eyes in the dark but I see them. They're big and shinny, she looks she so full of life. I down at her, and smile although she probably can't see me.
"I love you" I say out of the blue, catching her attention and her tilts her head and smiles.
"I love you too" she says slowly and softly. The rains crashes on us, as I stand with her in my arms. I caress her cheek wiping away water, just from water to replace it again.
"You don't know how much I love you"
"What?" And then I kiss her before she can talk anymore. I kiss her long, and passionate. And I feel as if we're walking back to the house, we lips still attached.
Her warm lips gape mine and her plump lips are felt between my teeth. As mine between her. We stumble over steps and we stand in the back porch once again and we pull away. My eyes scan her soaking body, as her dark eyes scan mine. My arms wrap around her as we walk inside, her footsteps in tact with mine and we enter the room.
Her breath hitches along with mine, her kisses trace along my jaw, as mine alone her neck. Then again at her lips. At human pace we stumble back slightest, but we pick up. Our senses become in tact, the heighten feeling burst inside us, as lust course through me.
Damn, I really love this girl.
