To Enyo
The guns
Went off
Low in
The
Valley,
Sending
Shrapnel
And blood
Flying through
The air and
Into the
Eyes of
The soldiers
Behind the
Barbed wire.
Men were
Thrown
Back
Onto the
Wire, their
Screams
Mixing with
The violent
Cacophony
Of battle.
She strode
Out with
A gun in
Her hand,
A sword
On her hip
And her
Face painted
Red.
