You remembered the day as if it was yesterday, the day you were being babysitted by who you always called your big brother, Yao. You were only three years old when your parents were at work and you were moved to be looked after by Yao who also happened to be looking after his younger brother, Kiku. That typical day a new neighbour moved into the same street you lived in, so Yao decided to take you and Kiku along to meet them. Of course you were scared at first, just like when Yao's family moved into the street. But that changed quickly.

It was a surprise when you first met Ivan, he looked about the same age as Yao which was at least five years older than you. Ivan was rather tall for his age, but he greeted you all with such a warm expression. It felt like a love at first sight if that was even possible for your age. You felt your heart pounding up to your throat that day, and that hadn't really changed ever since either.

You grew up quickly, and you were often invited to stay over at Ivan's house while your parents were off to work. Yao sometimes took the opportunity to come over as well, which only made those days more fun. It was like a happy little family, imagining them as two big brothers and a younger one.

All those memories, you remembered them all. From the first date up to the day you were proposed to by Ivan. Your feelings for the older male never disappeared, but you never expected to be liked like that in return.

And there you stood now, looking into the large mirror to have a view at the pearl white wedding dress you were being helped in. You were now __ years old. Never had you imagined this day would come until Ivan confessed to you, he made you so happy.

You smiled as you saw yourself in your dream dress. Your hair had been pinned up nicely by Sofia, while Natalia remained helping you with the dress. At first she completely disagreed and stormed off angrily, but eventually she shyly came back and offered you her help after all. You watched as Natalia added the finishing touches before she stepped back, even she seemed to like it.

"So, what do you think?" She asked, stroking her hand through her long blonde hair. She stared at you through the mirror with a disappointing look, not because of the dress but because she didn't get what she wanted in the end.

"It's gorgeous" You said, a smile crossed your lips.

"I'm sure big brother will think the same" Natalia stated.

"Yes, I think so too" It was an awkward little moment, but Natalia at least accepted this now. She turned to leave, but stopped in her tracks.

"Oh yeah, you'll be picked up within a hour. I'm going on ahead to see my brother" She left you alone after that. You couldn't wait, in less than a hour you were going to be married.

But there was something bothering you, you looked into the mirror once more and down to your stomach area. Only the day before the wedding you found out that you had been pregnant for two weeks now, and you didn't tell Ivan yet since you were worried about his reaction. The two of you never discussed about having a child, so you were afraid that he wasn't going to like it.

You shrugged, shaking it off of you for now. This was a special day, you should worry about other things later.

The bells of the church rang a couple of times once you reached it, indicating that it was time. Arthur waited for you in front of the church, helping you out of the car. Arthur being one of Ivan's friends had offered to lead you inside, the rest of them were also there but they were already inside to wait for the ceremony. You smiled as the Brit gently took your arm, the nerves started building up quickly now as you thought about the bound that was about to be shaped.

"Are you ready to go?" He asked you. You nodded as Arthur started leading you inside.

The music started to play once you entered the big hall of the church, everything was decorated the way you had imagined it. You looked forward to the altar where your fiancé stood, his deep purple eyes lit up once he saw you. Your eyes gazed around, spotting many of your friends as well as Ivan's friends. Francis looked overjoyed, while Yao and Alfred happily smiled at you. Not only they were there, but even Gilbert and Antonio made it as well as Ludwig who was probably pulled along by Feliciano and Lovino merely followed them with Kiku that was holding his camera ready.

You were brought up to the altar, and Ivan gently took your hands in his own. He whispered you a You look beautiful before everything went silent as the priest started to talk.

"The step which you are about to take is the most important into which human beings can come. It is a union of two people founded upon mutual respect and affection. Your lives will change, your responsibilities will increase, but your joy will be multiplied if you are sincere and earnest with your pledge to one another" The two of you looked at each other's eyes, the feeling of excitement was getting bigger and bigger.

"Ivan Braginsky, will you have this woman to be your wedded wife, to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, and forsaking all others, keep you only unto her, for so long as you both shall live?"

"Yes, I do"

"____________, will you have this man to be your wedded husband, to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, and forsaking all others, keep you only unto him, so long as you both shall live?"

"Yes, I will"

Everyone watched with delight as the ring bearer came up, handing over the rings. The moment felt so good when you took Ivan's hand and slid the ring around his finger. You smiled when he took your own hand when the priest spoke, gently putting the ring around your finger. The two of you remained holding hands afterwards, unable to help yourself as you stared into Ivan's deep purple eyes.

"Hereby I now pronounce you as husband and wife. You may kiss the bride" The priest announced.

A cheer was shared when Ivan leaned in on you, and his lips made contact with yours.

The wedding party was great as well. You happened to be sitting at the side after having danced with Ivan for a good amount of time, after that he told you that he would be back soon. You figured that now was the time to honestly tell Ivan about your pregnancy before it was too late.

You remained silent with an uneasy feeling when you led your husband outside in order to be alone with him. You sat down on the edge of a small fountain that was sitting just in front of the big building the party was still going on in. Ivan sat down next to you, giving his usual smile as he wrapped his arm around your shoulders to pull you close to him.

"So what did you want to tell me, hun?" Ivan asked, he saw your slightly worried expression a moment later.

"W-well.. it turns out that I'm pregnant, I only found out about it yesterday" You admitted. Ivan remained silent, until he suddenly pulled you into an embrace. You looked up at him, but he didn't seem anywhere near what you expected him to look like.

"I think that's great, don't you think so too?" You smiled at Ivan's reaction, happily embracing him in return.

"Yes.. yes it is"

You were sure, that in the end you were going to live happily with your husband.

[Extended ending]

~3 Years later~

"Mommy, mommy! We're back!"

You heard the excited shouts of your daughter as she ran into the living room, after being taken out by Ivan to go to the park to play with others of her age. Your daughter was merely three years old now. She happily hopped over to the sofa you sat on, and climbed it in order to look at the blankets you held in your arms. You had just finished feeding the newly born baby boy of a week old, and your daughter had been so excited about it, which could cause trouble from time to time.

"[Insert name]'s so cute!" Your daughter happily said. Her eyes never left the baby, and you couldn't help but smile about it.

"Yes, your little brother sure is" You looked down at the sleeping figure as you spoke. Just then your husband came in, taking a seat next to you and your daughter on the sofa.

"I'm sorry, she wanted to see her little brother so much that she ran off just like that" Ivan couldn't help but chuckle at his own words. And in the end he wrapped his arm around your shoulder.

"It's nothing to worry about. Besides, it will be great to see them grow up together like this" You say. Your daughter had been too occupied with the baby boy to even know what you said.

In all honesty, you never regretted being married to Ivan.

Because you lived happily ever after.
