Not too far from The Strangling Ogre was a small market place; the sun was still in the sky so it was quite busy. Many items were sold here, ranging from clothes to deadly weapons, however there was one person that would steal the most dangerous and most guarded magical items. She would keep what she liked and sell what she didn’t need. She wore a giant rucksack much bigger than her on her back. Goggles were sitting on top of her rainbow colored hair, this rainbow only had four colors that were blue, orange, purple, and pink. Her eye’s were all red with black pupils.

She held up a sign that read ‘Buy your scarfs, jackets, and others!’ but on the bottom left corner was a symbol that would reveal what she really is selling. She wouldn’t get many customers and the ones that know what they’re after always wear hoods and don’t speak much.

“Buy all the clothes you need.” She announced keeping a smile on her face but everyone passed not paying any attention.

Suddenly, every demon walking around disappeared as if they were a projection of some sort. The only people left there were all wearing bandanas and had knives in their hands. There were ten of them, all standing on the opposite side of the marketplace like they were military soldiers. The saleswoman examined once more and noticed that they wore a uniform and were all furry, they had long noses and all of the fur that was covering their bodies was dark grey. These are the royal knights, the authority in the Demon world. The back row of five jumped up onto the walls surrounding the marketplace and ran on the walls toward her, the five on the ground charged at her. She couldn’t run up walls and had no other choice but to fight.  She wore a giant rucksack which she through in front of her at the speed of sound. She put her whole arm in and fiddled around until she grabbed something that she thought would do damage. The furry figures were now in front of her and one thrust his knife forward but before the knife had passed it’s chest, the saleswoman pulled out a black curtain that became as solid as a wall as soon as the blade made contact with it. The creature’s wrist snapped and the blade snapped in half, it fell to the floor screaming in pain.

“One down, nine to go.” The woman murmured to herself.

She went into her bag again and pulled out a giant hammer which she then swung it vertically and smashed the four in front of her knocking them back to where they started smashed into the walls.

The five on the walls had split up, three on the left wall and two on the right. They were to close for the woman to react and had all leaped off of the walls at her ready to rip her apart. But, when the woman blinked the two on the right were carried up by a figure with black wings, she wore a leather jacket that was a shade darker than her wings and jeans that were a similar colour. She dropped the two furry soldiers down to the ground, and the force of falling and the strength of her throw had smashed their skulls. The three on the left were taken down by a figure wearing a red coat that reached down to his feet, he had his hood up but his black shoes, trousers, and shirt was easily shown, his face stayed hidden. He had taken down the three with the giant scythe he wielded cutting them up into tiny pieces.

“Oh hey, you looked like you needed help so me and Divya decided to butt in.” The man said turning around and pulling down his hood.

The girl with wings flew down next to him brushing off the none existent dust off her shoulders.

“Yeah hey I’m Divya, and this giant is Ben.” She said as her wings curled into her back, they were now hidden.

Ben was much taller than Divya however Divya was shorter than the saleswoman. With his hood off she could see that he had short blonde hair and purple eyes that she had never seen. He put his scythe onto his back with the blade near his feet.

“Uh hey, I’m Kiera.” She replied after a long pause.

“Well Kiera, how about joining our team, you look like an outlaw?” Divya said with her arms crossed.

“What, sorry but I work alone.” Kiera replied.

“Well if you ever change your mind…” Ben said with his back turned. “We’ll know.” He smirked now walking away from her and Divya now at his side.
